St John's Care Home is situated in the quiet market town of Spalding. The home has spacious dining rooms, lounges and a mature garden. The care home has a warm, friendly atmosphere with a dedicated team of care staff.

Chef Managers cook a variety of nutritious and tasty meals to provide residents with appealing daily menus which are updated regularly. Special dietary requirements are catered for.

Since the Activities person left, the residents are just sitting about and are bored doing nothing. It seems a shame as he kept them active with different games and little jobs in the garden.

I am very pleased with everything that has been happening while my dad has been in care. All the staff are brilliant with my dad. Nothing is too much for the carers and staff to help Dad.

Mum is well looked after, staff very pleasant. Meals are OK, Mum is 95 and has a good appetite. The new cafe area etc has been created and looks really lovely.

Mum has had a whole year in your home came 20th May. I am so pleased how she has finally settled in and becoming more interested in the entertainment and getting out of her room. So sorry they are short of entertainment staff at the moment but look forward to more input from a replacement. Mum enjoys
mini bus days out and a bit of banter from the staff. I am happy that she is happy and settled.

My mum passed away on Saturday December 2nd. The care and love the staff gave Mum during the six weeks of Mum's end of life I could ask no more of. The staff on duty just before Mum passed away were fantastic. Night staff could not do enough for her or for myself and sister, we will be forever grateful.

The care in St John's is second to none. The residents are all cared for very well, they have activities every day, organised sing-alongs, various parties and outings. The staff look after the residents like they are their own family. My mother has never eaten so well, the meals are very good and varied.
If anyone is looking for a care home for a relative I would certainly recommend St John's. Every visitor is made very welcome.

Originally from Sri Lanka and now settled in Spalding, she is passionate about person-centred care and proud to lead a dedicated team who go above and beyond to support residents and their families.
