Very pleasant home good staff. Only thing is was surprised there was no umbrellas outside in the garden for the residents to enjoy the sunshine. Also shortage of wheelchairs.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review for Neale Court Care Home. Your kind words will be shared with the staff team. Thank you for your feedback regarding the outdoor umbrellas, we have taken your comments on board and are looking into it.
My wife has completed 6 weeks respite care and is now about to become a full-time resident. During this time, I and the family have been very satisfied with the level of care received from all the staff at Neale Court. The cleanliness, safety, facilities and food are excellent. Activities, which were restricted, are being increased at present, following the appointment of a new Activities Coordinator and will provide a wide range for residents to participate in and enjoy.
Thank you for your kind review of Neale Court Care Home. We are so happy you are pleased with the quality of care and how hard our staff work to make our residents happy, and pleased you also like our facilities offered. Your wife has really settled into our Neale Court family. Warmest regards,
I was in contact with some members of the staff more than others, as she would expect. On the occasion I was taken out in a wheelchair for an hours ride.
The entertainments of game, quizzes, especially bingo and music were excellent and most persons were able to take part.
The time that I spent in the home will not be forgotten easily. With kind regards, Charles.

Mum used to like going to The Ark - there used to be enough staff to take 3 or more people there, just to get away from the home, now seemingly only 1 person can be taken, only 1 member of staff available to do it. The activity sheet states The Ark trip on Friday which portrays there is a trip of a few people - I find out today that its only for 1 person!!? Is the sheet just a paper exercise? disappointing for Mum. More staff needed please.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review for Neale Court Care Home. We are sorry to hear that you feel there's been a decline in the activities since your mum moved in. We completely understand how important it is for our residents to feel stimulated, engaged, and part of a lively, happy...
We feel that the service and care is 1st class.
My only negative is that a few of the residents need more care than others. I myself have felt a little vulnerable at the few residents wandering around the lounge, a little pack like., or wandering round with cutlery in hand, or having their belongings moved etc. Perhaps a suggestion would be that if some residents that need the extra care they could use the 1st floor lounge and bedroom facilities.

She is cared for, her room is clean and tidy with her own pictures on the walls.
She is treated with compassion and respect.
The food she assures us is fabulous and they take into account her dietary needs.
We know, unfortunately that not all homes are like this, and are very grateful to the staff.

It's wonderful to hear that she has a new lease of life and is enjoying the activities and the facilities. Warmest regards
I cannot fault Neale Court. My dad moved there from another care home and the difference was immediately apparent. The resident's lounge is large and welcoming, resembling the lobby of a nice hotel. His en-suite bedroom was spacious and modern. However, it is the staff that makes this home what it is. Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely care about the residents. My Dad was always treated with dignity and respect. His needs changed dramatically in the short time he was there and they adapted with ease. They were equally caring towards us, his family, allowing us to stay with him in his final days. I must also say that the food was always delicious and nicely presented. I would not hesitate to recommend Neale Court.

From the manager, carers, kitchen, cleaners and activity ladies (sorry if I missed anyone) have all been fantastic.
I would highly recommend it.

My very frail Mum came into Neale Court in January. The care and consideration given to Mum have been amazing so far. The food is lovely, Mum gets to choose if she wants a cooked breakfast and loves a bacon sandwich! All the staff I have met so far have been cheerful and understanding of Mum's needs. The room is very bright, airy and kept clean but homely. I honestly can't put into words how happy I am Mum is safe, warm, clean and well cared for.

The activities have been great fun, interesting and varied. Animal visits, live music and games. The room has been cleaned. Dad seems happy. Few issues of loss of glasses and personal clothes but this seems standard by all accounts.
