Ruckland Court is a lovely care home. My mother has been a resident for over 10 years and is very happy. I am delighted that she can enjoy her life is this caring, friendly community. The staff - all staff including the Manager, Carers, Laundry Ladies, Chefs - everyone involved, do their utmost to ensure that she is happy and well cared for. I have utmost respect to all in what can be sometimes difficult circumstances and send my thanks for their care and attention to my mother. It is a happy friendly care home.

I recommend Ruckland Court without hesitation.

A wonderful care home on every level. They cared for my Nanna for five years. Over that time they became part of her family and showed so much care and compassion. Very kind and friendly carers. She was shown so much respect, love and dignity towards the end of her life, which was very comforting for us as a family.

Cannot thank them enough for the care shown over the years and would certainly highly recommend them for both daycare and residential care.

Overall Experience

I have seen a great improvement under the new manager and her team. The whole atmosphere is now warm and friendly and senior staff are accessible. It is still hard to contact Ruckland Court out of hours, for example when my mother rings us in the night and is frightened. My mum likes and trusts the staff and her rooms are always clean and tidy. It is difficult to persuade her to socialise, and she wears the same clothes for days in spite of staffs best efforts.

Overall Experience
We have always found the staff caring and friendly, treating my Mother with dignity and respect. The flat is comfortable and has everything my Mother needs, although she has, in the past, preferred to spend time in the lounge with the other residents where she gets involved with the various activities provided.
The quality of food in the dining room is excellent and we know she enjoys her meals.

We are happy in the knowledge that my Mother is being well looked after and cared for. Thank you.

My mother has been in Ruckland Court for 3-4 years and has a first class attention from staff all the time. The dining has also been very good. No complaints at all from our family.
