Russell Green Care Home is a warm, welcoming and caring place where residents are treated with kindness, dignity and respect. The staff are friendly, compassionate and attentive, and it is clear that they genuinely care about the residents' comfort, wellbeing and happiness.

The staff make sure residents are well looked after. There are also a good range of activities and opportunities for residents to socialise, stay engaged and enjoy their time. The home has a lovely atmosphere, and the team go above and beyond to provide thoughtful and personalised care.

The home is clean and has good adaptive facilities to meet all the the needs of their residents.

Dad has been to Russell Green CH for 5 days respite care. We wondered how he would be as he is quite independant despite his age (95). We need not have worried, he was very happy with the care he received from the wonderful staff. His only complaint - too much food. As we all said better than not enough and he very much enjoyed the variety

We always receive a very warm welcome. The staff are amazing, very attentive and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. It's very clean and tidy and the residents are happy and well cared for.

It's an absolute joy to visit so a big pat on the back to all the team and a huge thanks for all you do for Mum as it's very much appreciated.

Mum is well supported at Russell Green. She has good relationships with the staff who know her well and are very caring. She has a lovely room with a view that she very much enjoy. Mum has always been happy with the care provided.

I have been involved with Russell Green for nearly 5 years. During that time I have had my mother enjoy respite care and then full residency. I became a volunteer as I wanted to support the home that gave my mother so much love and care until we lost her. I was devastated but the home was supportive especially Julie Garnett the Carehome Manager. The team there made me feel and mum part of a family. Not just a sterilised environment but a place to live and breathe and still be important. A challenge in a place like this but seemingly mostly achieved. Consequently my aunties' health failed and she too now resides at the home. She has improved and thrived in the environment. Going to bed at night knowing she is cared for and loved even, by some of the staff, is a great relief. I have constant contact with the home and continue to volunteer as I believe that every Carehome should be based around this one. Even in later life we deserve to be seen and heard. To enjoy life.

I really cannot praise Russell Green highly enough. From the moment my mum moved in we were all, family included, made to feel at home. The staff are all incredibly friendly and caring and I'm in no doubt that my mum is completely safe and cared for, which is such a huge relief. The food always looks and smells delicious, there are lots of activities going on which we are often able to join in with and the house and garden are beautiful. The residents are treated with dignity and kindness which is lovely to see and there is always laughter to be heard. It actually feels now like we're visiting one big family, residents and staff included, we all feel like friends. I couldn't wish for anywhere better for my mum.

I have a dear friend currently in Russell Green care home and l cannot fault the establishment or the wonderful staff . This small friendly care home goes the extra mile to make sure my friend is happy and comfortable at all times. The carers are superb and the food delicious!. Visiting my friend and the other residents is always an enjoyable event especially when l can join in with some of the great activities they constantly arrange for them. The property is full of character and the gardens superb . Contact with my friend is also no trouble either by phone or email so l can keep in touch from wherever l am. The residents independence is foremost in their care plan but the overall feeling of the place is one of a homely huge family living together in harmony!

We recently contacted Russell Green about respite care for a close friend. Julie the manager and the staff involved in the admission were very helpful and suggested we visit to see the home and the room they had available. Our friend had experienced respite in care homes before which hadn't worked out well. We decided to take the room and brought our friend to stay. All the staff were very helpful and made our friend and us feel very welcome. Our friend was settled in and as she hadn't eaten was offered something to eat and drink. We were also offered drinks as we had been busy most of the day and not had chance to have a drink we accepted. It was obvious that the staff focus on the resident, her needs and comfort were addressed immediately. As our friend needs to gain her strength and generally improve her well-being. We feel confident this will be achieved at Russell Green. Person centred care is really good to see in this care home.

You are unable to put a price on the care, support, dignity and respect given daily to my father by all staff at Russell Green. Combined with daily activities, wonderful food and comfortable surroundings, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks to all for everything you do.

Since moving her to Russell Green she has her hair done, nails done she has gained a healthy weight and is enjoying a new lease of life and at ninety-six she is thriving. Thank you to the wonderful team there that make all this possible and give their wonderful residents the dignity in life they deserve.

I frequently visit to see my friend. All the staff are excellent and very friendly. The care given by the staff is exceptional, and I would highly recommend this care home. The overall standard of the care home is very good.

Our aunt is being looked after so well. All the staff are very caring. Nothing is too much trouble. It is a real home from home. I cannot fault it and would happily recommend it to anyone. The staff are a real team, the atmosphere is lovely. As soon as you walk in you can sense it's a happy place.

My aunt entered Russell Green Care Home in December 2022 following a traumatic hospital admission. From the beginning I was very impressed with all aspects of the care she was given. Last week my aunt became very ill and we were advised this appeared to be end of life. My sister and I travelled over and spent the week with her. During this time the home organised a move into a larger room in order to accommodate a hospital bed to make it easier to administer even better care. I cannot fault the care and dedication my aunt is receiving, every effort is made to ensure her comfort. The staff are extremely dedicated, kind, and caring, they show such great respect to their residents. Over the last four years, my sister and I have had to place our mother and uncle in residential homes, we both agree that Russell Green far surpasses all other homes we have experienced. They work as a closely knit team, this makes such a difference to the high level of care delivered.

Our friend has been a resident for three months and improved dramatically since admission. She has benefitted greatly from the environment and stimulation within the home. She enjoys four meals per day and the company of other residents. The staff are very kind and attentive, offering drinks to visitors. Her room is clean and bright, with dual aspects, new curtains, carpets and decoration. She has an en-suite toilet and sink. Visits are welcome in the lovely garden or her room, but not in the lounge due to covid regulations. Covid tests and masks are needed inside the building.

Without hesitation, we are pleased to be able to recommend Russell Green as a home, having such high standards in providing support to my mother-in-law and giving her the best possible quality of life in her latter years.
