Your fees cover several areas while in their care.
These services are: Personal care, accommodation,
utilities, use of communal areas, meals, drinks and
snacks, laundry (excluding dry cleaning),
housekeeping, maintenance and activities run by the
home.
We currently have a welcome offer available for new residents funding their own care at Skirbeck Court. The offer includes free hairdresser/barber services, chiropody, daily newspaper of your choice and toiletry gift set on arrival.

Services NOT included in price are: dentistry, chiropody,
physiotherapy, occupational therapy, opticians, hairdressing,
medications, toiletries, clothing, newspapers/magazines.
During your stay, you may need to purchase additional goods
and services. If they are able to provide such goods and
services, they will tell you how much these goods and services
will cost and they expect that you will pay for these goods and
services at the time you request them.
They can accompany loved ones to private appointments,
however the fee attached to this is £21 per hour. Where private taxi
services are used for transportation to appointments the cost should
be paid for by yourself.

From arrival to departure, the welcome and care were exceptional. The staff were professional and friendly and no request was an issue - in fact just the opposite.

Very happy with Skirbeck Court for my dad. The staff are caring and lovely people. The home itself has a very positive feel to it - very bright and clean. We were most impressed with the food for Dad; it's all home-cooked on the premises, and he really enjoyed every meal. Highly recommend it.

Very positive experience for me. What was a very stressful situation was made positive by the way the staff at Skirbeck Court welcomed Mum and Dad and looked after me, addressing my concerns and relaxing Mum and Dad. The staff made sure I was okay, even providing me with food and drink. Thank you everyone.

My brother-in law came to Skirbeck Court for a months rehabilitation, my sister and I visited every day. I would like to say what a lovely home it is, the staff were all so welcoming and always happy to have a chat, nothing was ever too much trouble. The manager was lovely, always happy and smiling
and always dealt swiftly with any queries we had. The food choice was varied and, as one resident told me, 'delicious'. The home is very clean and well-presented. This home is a prime example of the way things should be done, my thanks to all you wonderful people who provided care for my brother-in-law. A big thank you to you all.

My father was here on a one month placement after suffering a stroke. I found all staff to be very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They answered any queries I had very quickly and were always friendly. My father said the food was delicious and of high quality. I would not hesitate to recommend
this home to anyone. My father enjoyed his time here.

At this care home I have always been treated with the utmost respect and dignity, this is constant and all the staff know how to speak to you and address you kindly. The level of care is very high and the way each carer gives you their full attention. The food here is excellent and the canteen staff
are always obliging if you fancy something. I feel an aura of love and compassion here and I have always felt safe here.

Staff extremely friendly and affectionate with residents and become a second family. Much better than homes in France where we live. Rooms are a bit small. Lovely, well-tended garden. My mum has been welcomed and well looked after. It's a big relief for the family to see her so happy there.

The staff and carers provide excellent care for Mum. Although she is unable to leave her bed, she is always happy and comfortable. She has just celebrated her 102nd birthday, and the home went the extra mile to ensure she had a memorable and exciting day.

Can't praise enough!
Caring and dedicated staff who go over and above their job requirements to meet residents' needs. Very clean environment, good food. Residents are encouraged to participate in activities and social events. Only downside is very small individual rooms. Visitors are welcome and

Skirbeck Court has been so good for my relative. The food is good, with choices for each meal. All staff are considerate of her needs. The home is really clean, and the bathrooms are spotless. The staff are wonderful and caring - nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are second to none, and the food is fantastic - lots of choices, and the kitchen staff are kind and helpful, and the residents look happy and well cared for. Naomi Bender

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2025

My Name is Naomi, I have been working in the care industry for over 20 years, I started working in care homes as an after school job in a kitchen, washing up after tea and I then started doing care shifts to help out and on weekends, it was then, that I found who I am.


Care for me has never been just a job, it is a vocation, something that I am truly passionate about. I have worked in most roles within the care home environments throughout Boston, Essex and Suffolk and in 2012 I qualified as a Nurse and returned to care homes in Essex and Suffolk, working my way through the ranks as a Nurse, then as a senior nurse, I then spent 8 years as a Deputy Manager, before moving back up to Lincolnshire. I have worked for several different care providers over the last 20 years including 3 large providers in the South of England before starting my Journey with OSJCT.


I joined OSJCT because their values align with my own, and I am looking forward to making a difference in the lives of the residents in my care. Over the course of my career, I have developed a real passion for end of life care and dementia care and really enjoy making a difference to people’s lives. Sometimes that difference can be as small as making someone smile when they’re having a bad day, or as big as being able to go paddle in the sea, or to go see a show.


If you were thinking about joining care, I would tell you it is hard work but very rewarding. Every day is different, and the little moments can really make a big impact for those living and working in care. I had lots of different jobs before care and this is by far the best.
