From arriving at Lancum House to the current day, Lancum House and the staff have continued to be welcoming, supportive, friendly & fun.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming to family members and visitors. They'll happily make you a cup of tea or stop for a chat whilst you're visiting your
loved one in their care.
The residents are clearly happy and feel safe and from the day you arrive, the staff go out of their way to understand your interests and hobbies to help you feel at home.
They have a huge range of entertainment at the home for you to enjoy and arrange days out if you wish to join.
This is a very happy, safe, and high-standard care home and should be a first choice for anyone looking for a care home.
The app is great for getting photos of your loved one enjoying their time and a great way for you to send photos to your loved one of what you and the family are doing which they print out for residents to enjoy and feel included in family life still.

I visit this care home on a monthly basis to help meet the resident's spiritual needs. All the residents look clean and happy. The staff are totally committed to providing fantastic care and it's a pleasure to be able to come into their lives just for an hour. The home always has a relaxed caring and
fun atmosphere, a credit to the hard-working staff.

Great staff and the home has an enclosed garden which is great for family visits. Lancum also has a box of toys so great-grandchildren can play outside and not disturb others.
The entertainment team are always looking for visits and tasks from pub quizzes, walks outside, singers, dementia choir, and
much more.
The food actually has a home-cooked look about it.

Staff are exceptionally caring showing respect, dignity and professionalism in all that they do. From the cleaners, chefs and housekeeping ladies, they have always been kind to my mother.
Residents always look cared for and are made to look their best for the day. The entertainment ladies do a tremendous
job, working late to upload pictures from the day. Going above and beyond. The environment is calm and well-led, and it's a pleasure to visit.

My mum went into Lancum House initially on respite care. However, after our family not being satisfied with the care she received being placed into another care home, she was assessed by the manageress at Lancum and was accepted to be relocated back to Lancum House. The home there is so much better,
it is light, airy, peaceful, clean and tidy, it's easy to find and has ample parking spaces. The staff there are lovely and make you feel welcome and keep you updated on what's happening both with your family resident and also what's going on inside the home to keep them stimulated and entertained, encouraging them to participate and to mix with other residents, as well as including their family members to join in too with various activities. To the lovely staff there, keep up the good work, you make visiting a nice relaxing time.

My Nan has been in this care home for many years now and it's a testament to how caring and clean this care home is that she has thrived there. The staff are so friendly and caring to the residents always smiling and happy and the fact that there isn't a high turnover of staff tells you something.
Nan's
room is also kept spotlessly clean and there seems to be great efforts to keep the general decor to a good standard. She regularly joins in with the activities and particularly enjoys the bingo.
Many thanks to the wonderful people at Lancum for looking after our beloved Nan so well.

My father was placed at Lancum House about 3 weeks ago and as I live in Spain and I am not from the Wellingborough area I had no idea about this home. He was moved as a permanent place arose. I'll be honest, I was very sceptical, as this whole scenario is all new to me and I am doing this all alone
without a brother or sister for emotional backup.
Well, all I can say is how absolutely wonderful this place is! I was greeted like a long-lost member of the family, the staff were all amazing! He is so much happier than where he was! I no longer feel worried. I really cannot thank and praise the staff enough and they have the family update which sounds fantastic. They will send me pictures of his week and I can send mine that will made into a little newspaper for him. Brilliant idea!
The staff took time to talk to me to update regarding my father.
It feels like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders! I am very grateful and I will see you all very soon!

My mother has been a resident for over a year now and she is very happy and settled now. The home do a variety of activities, trips and organisations who visit the home. My mother really enjoys the bingo! The staff are always friendly and helpful nothing is any trouble.

My mother-in-law is very well cared for by the amazing staff.
Nothing is too much trouble, they really go all out to make sure all the residents' needs are met.
We as a family are very happy with the care given.
The home is welcoming.
The entertainment staff are great always doing topical crafts
and the residents enjoy this.
Bingo is loved by all.
They also have singers to entertain and sing along with and this really goes down well.

My dad moved into Lancum House in March and the staff have all made the transition for him and me so much better than I thought it would be. Each visit I’ve made to see him we are always made to feel welcome. He’s happier than I expected him to be, he’s been out to dementia choir and loves gardening
with the ladies, he’s enjoyed a game of bingo and the food and kitchen staff deserve more than five stars... it always smells and looks delicious. Dad hasn’t been this happy in ages so thank you Lancum staff for helping this happen for my dad to be safe and cared for.

The Lancum House Care Home is without doubt the best care home that I have ever visited. The staff are not only warm, friendly and caring but also prepared to go the extra mile for their residents. A friend of mine who is a resident has had a smile on his face since he moved in, which was missing before.

During the last six months, I have seen my mother grow happier as each month has passed.
She speaks fondly of those who care for her and I find the team always welcoming.
The activities provided are a great stimulus for her which has been great for her mentally and bonding with other residents.

I have worked at Lancum House since 2011. I am the deputy manager at Lancum House.


I started at Lancum as a support worker and through great training and support have worked my way up the ladder with lots of hard work and determination. I have many years of experience in care in different roles.


Here at Lancum House, we work very hard to ensure the home is welcoming and a hive of activity. Lancum House is a bright homely place full of compassion, laughter and fulfilment.


We put our Residents at the centre of all care and make sure residents and families are involved in all aspects of care planning. We believe we are guests within the resident’s home and provide the upmost of dignity and respect.

I have worked at Lancum House since 2018, I am currently a team leader at Lancum House.


I have many years’ experience in various care roles and enjoy using my knowledge to guide and teach others. Lancum House is very special to me as I worked here years ago when I left school.


Here at Lancum, we have a great team of staff who have a wealth of experience and provide high standards of care, we succeed in providing person centred care and do our upmost to ensure wellbeing, working closely with residents and families at all times.

I have worked at Lancum House for many years and enjoyed every second of it. We have a fantastic team who go above and beyond to make people happy and content.


We have many staff that have worked here for a long time and continue to enjoy it. Lancum House is a lively warm home, we promote independence with dignity and respect, our resident’s happiness is very important to us all and we work hard to have just that.
