Lancum House

Mum has been at lancum now for about a year ,she has improved immensely,they really look after her there ,all the staff are friendly and do a brilliant job ,big thanks to one of the staff members whom my mum absolutely adores, and to two other staff members who keep them entertained always something to do to keep them occupied ,and to all the other staff great people ,home is clean and welcoming and the staff are brilliant

Mum loves the activities and always gets involved when she can. There's so much to do, I'm a bit envious.

Mum always looks well cared for. The staff are attentive in their care and give me regular, meaningful and personalised updates on mum's moods, wellbeing, appetite and choices. The love, kindness and compassion I have have experienced here is second to none. I feel blessed that mum is in such good hands. Her smile speaks volumes on how comfortable she feels among good friends here.

The staff take care of my Mother very well. They always put on regular activities to keep her entertained and to include her with other residents. They talk to her with respect, compassion and care.

They are always very welcoming to my sister, my son and myself and ecourage us to visit and maintain our relationships.

My mum has been at Lancum House for two years, and we couldn't be more grateful. The home is always clean, warm, and welcoming. Staff are not only well-trained but genuinely kind, treating every resident with dignity and compassion. What truly sets it apart is their outstanding dementia care-personalised, engaging activities that have improved my mum's wellbeing and happiness. The staff communicate clearly with families, and there's a real sense of community and care. It's a place where residents are respected, supported, and allowed to thrive. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Lancum House.

My mum is always happy. She is always dressed well, eats very well since being at Lancum House. The staff are always happy, very friendly, caring to residents and family. The care home is clean and very well maintained. The entertainment and exercise sessions that residents receive are exceptional. Regular updates are always given and the gazette that is provided weekly is a vital lifeline which is a helpful and reassuring tool when regular visits are not possible.

They are always there to help u with any questions you have and are all lovely people..so glad my dad is being well cared for...they are a amazing care home

Mum is very well looked after by the caring attentive staff. She loves the range of activities that are regularly organised. I thoroughly reccomend the home because of the love and kindness we feel there.

The house has a warm welcome feel to it. I would 100% recommend Lancum for anyone who is searching for a loving, caring home for their loved ones. Knowing that they will be looked after by highly trained staff.

Mum has been in this home since August 24 and we were worried Christmas would be hard for her away from family but the team were exceptional, they involved her in all crafts and made her feel like their family. The care is outstanding nothing is too much for the staff. The kitchen staff cater to everyone's needs and are amazing would recommend this care facility for your loved ones.

Dad passed recently but we were pleased that he had enjoyed his time with Lancum, the staff and the many new friends he had come to know.

The app is great for getting photos of your loved one enjoying their time and a great way for you to send photos to your loved one of what you and the family are doing which they print out for residents to enjoy and feel included in family life still.

I visit this care home on a monthly basis to help meet the resident's spiritual needs. All the residents look clean and happy. The staff are totally committed to providing fantastic care and it's a pleasure to be able to come into their lives just for an hour. The home always has a relaxed caring and fun atmosphere, a credit to the hard-working staff.

The food actually has a home-cooked look about it.

Residents always look cared for and are made to look their best for the day. The entertainment ladies do a tremendous job, working late to upload pictures from the day. Going above and beyond. The environment is calm and well-led, and it's a pleasure to visit.

The staff are excellent in the service they provide to the residents. They make the family feel very welcome when they visit. The activities they provide are exceptionally good. The home is very clean and tidy.

My mum went into Lancum House initially on respite care. However, after our family not being satisfied with the care she received being placed into another care home, she was assessed by the manageress at Lancum and was accepted to be relocated back to Lancum House. The home there is so much better, it is light, airy, peaceful, clean and tidy, it's easy to find and has ample parking spaces. The staff there are lovely and make you feel welcome and keep you updated on what's happening both with your family resident and also what's going on inside the home to keep them stimulated and entertained, encouraging them to participate and to mix with other residents, as well as including their family members to join in too with various activities. To the lovely staff there, keep up the good work, you make visiting a nice relaxing time.

My sister-in-law is receiving excellent care and is very happy in this care home. The staff are very caring and very helpful. Facilities are very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this care home.
