Nazareth House - Northampton

First time at the home visiting and was easy to find. Friendly welcome at reception, care staff friendly and welcoming and have a good sense of humour. The home seemed well run and clean. Seemed there was plenty of activities going on within the home. Keep up the good work.

Nazareth House is a fabulous home with a great leadership team. Staff are always friendly, polite and helpful and treat residents with empathy, dignity and respect. One staff member and manager are very helpful and organised. One of the nurses in particular is an outstanding nurse, keeps us informed, contacts us quickly if necessary and reassures us that mum is well cared for. The tables are always laid out nicely by the catering team, and the residents lovely the daily entertainment and one staff member in particular is always thinking of new ways to help residents participate. Nazareth is kept clean and tidy and always smells nice. Laundry is provided for residents and has its own chapel with lovely gardens. We feel extremely lucky to have found a lovely home where residents are truly cared for.

But I'd particularly like to highlight the fantastic guy who provides year-round activities and entertainment for the residents. He does so much and works so hard and is clearly passionate about what he does. He is one of several unsung heroes there.

Members of Staff were very sociable. Offered me lunch, though I refused and settled for tea.

Nazareth House is a very friendly place. Our friend seems to enjoy being here and care is very good.

Nazareth House is a great care home. My mother is always very well looked after. All the carers are very kind to her. It's a relief knowing she's in there and being taken care of. The management is very well organised and lets us know how she is.

Excellent care home. Focus is solely on the wellbeing of the residents. Consequently residents are well treated as individuals and the carers are always helpful and enthusiastic.

Across all the staff, it felt as if they really cared and were all part of the team. They were also friendly and welcoming. The environment was clean and no unpleasant smells. Rooms were looked after well and clothes were always clean and fresh. The building is a little tired and the gardens could benefit from more care. I would have liked to see real (not artificial) flowers in reception.

I would like to thank very much all the staff for looking after my mother. Putting up with her mood swings and all the loving care from the staff right up to the day she passed away, with special thanks to one staff member in particular who was kind enough to go to the funeral with me.

Every time I visit, the management are always very smart and presentable. They are always welcoming and polite. The staff are outstanding and always happy, which reflects on the good management of this home. My resident friend who I expected to be a difficult client has settled in and feels so safe and happy. It is always a pleasure to visit. Thank you.

Excellent all round. Staff polite and respectful at all times. Care and consideration given to all the residents and their families. The grounds are also well kept and a pleasure to walk around. The home is well-run and very clean and organised.

I noticed a big improvement in how my sister presented after being admitted into the care home. She settled in well and was always pleased to see the staff. I was also happy with the care she received from the staff, and nothing was too much trouble for them. My sister can be difficult at times, but again, the staff were very professional and managed her well. They do a very good job.

All the staff are very happy and friendly and very caring and the home is very clean. There is always something going on with games, bingo, quiz. All the rooms are a good size and you can bring lots of personal belongings to make your room feel like home. I would recommend this home to anybody thinking of putting a member of their family here.

The staff are amazing, they really take the time with everyone. They're so friendly and lovely, every time I go in they are so welcoming and very friendly and always sitting with the people, always with a smile on there face. I’m so grateful to them.

We go home and know Mum is being looked after.

Nazareth House is one of the best care homes I have come across. As a child, I went to school with children from the children’s home and my mother took me to visit elderly friends at Nazareth House so it just seemed the right choice for mum when she needed residential care. The home is very clean and well-kept. There is a calm, gentle, secure atmosphere. The carers are kind, professional and have sound common sense, they soon got the measure of mum! Their patience seems inexhaustible. It is such a comfort to know mum is so well cared for. I would highly recommend Nazareth House to anyone looking for a care home for their loved ones.
