The care of my sister was excellent, she is suffering from Progressive Supranuclear palsy. The head of care and her deputy were very helpful and kind. Their observations resulted in a transfer to local hospice and subsequent changes in medication. The only problem I encountered was trying to get through on the telephone to either the main number or nursing - it was always voicemail. So communications were not always easy.

My respite care was extremely good. The staff was friendly, caring and professional. My stay was nothing but enjoyable and beneficial for me after a hip operation. If I had to, I would definitely opt to stay at the Richmond.

My wife has had the best care at Richmond Northampton anyone could ask for. Nothing is too much trouble from any of the staff and the medical treatment is second to none. I would recommend Richmond Northampton for its very high standards and quality.

From the first contact, we met with kind and efficient help. After admission, I knew we had made the right choice under sad and difficult home conditions. Not only is my partner receiving all the help and care he needs but I am made to feel so welcome.

The staff and facilities are positive, healthy and hugely supportive to all family members in a difficult situation. We remain hugely grateful.

My Mum has lived at Richmond Village in the dementia care unit for several months now. From the first visit, I felt that this place was right for Mum and far better than her 2 previous homes and the numerous other homes I had viewed. The physical environment is beautiful. Large, light, stimulating, yet also calm and homely. The quality of the catering is amazing. However, the main reason that it is such an amazing place is the staff. The care staff are just so good. They are patient, caring, funny, engaging, and interested. They care and get to know each resident and family and tailor their interactions accordingly. The support staff are equally welcoming and friendly. I cannot recommend the dementia unit at Richmond Village highly enough.

My mother was treated with kindness and the care provided was very good. We visited almost every day and were given updates on her condition. When difficulties arose we were informed almost simultaneously by both my mother and the staff and a plan was put in place to overcome whatever the problem was. All the staff at Richmond Northampton were friendly and welcoming.

My wife was discharged from hospital after 3 weeks of treatment. I arranged for her to have 1 week of respite care at Richmond Village Northampton. She received excellent care which made the transition back to home an easy one.

We have been very kindly and efficiently helped with a prospective purchase. Everyone we have come into contact with has been professional and yet friendly. All the advice has been thoughtful and carefully tailored to our needs.

My Mum had been to two nursing homes prior to Richmond Village. The difference is hard to describe. For the first time, we are so happy with Mum's care. All the staff are so friendly and caring, not jus tot Mum but to all our family. The accommodation is a different class. I describe to like a 5 star hotel. The food is out of this world, plenty of activities going on. It was the best decision we could have made. I would highly recommend.

This is the sixth residence my mother has had in 13 months. When she arrived she was confused and grieving, eventually appearing to require end of life care. The home informed me and continued to offer me and my mother excellent support and care. Staff have enabled my mother's diabetes to be appropriately managed so that her blood sugar is largely stable. My mother is bed-bound but recently she has been moved in a wheelchair to other parts of the house so that she can meet other people. She is always treated with good humour, dignity and respect. She periodically responds openly and is much more settled and becoming more herself despite significant challenges. I would not hesitate to recommend Richmond Northampton for care needs.
