I joined Park Beck in early 2022, starting as a housekeeper and working my way up to Deputy Manager. I spend my days either in the office supporting the home manager in the running of the home or on the floor with the residents. Seeing the residents smiling, laughing and feeling safe within the home motivates me to do the best that I can.
I have worked in the Home for 14 years, starting part-time whilst I support my young family and then developing my own skills and knowledge to be given the privilege to work as Deputy alongside Nicola. I have expanded my skills and support a fantastic team of colleagues.
I have worked for Regal Care for over 5 years. I did move on to pursue another role but soon returned to the Home as it feels like family. I have developed from Carer to Senior Carer to now Head of Care- supporting the team. I have learnt vastly regarding medicines, health conditions and observing deterioration. This has given me great confidence and ability to work well with other health professionals on a good level of understanding.
