The overall care is good but I recieved more care when I first came but not as much now I've been here a while. There is nothing bad to say about this home because they treat me very good.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It is excellent that hear that you have become more independent and the team are supportive of your needs.
From the very first call, I thought this was the place for our 90yr old father who is deaf.
A suitability visit was made to assess his needs, my siblings in Nottingham were welcomed to visit Braywood Gardens and things were quickly put in place, his bedroom was painted and throughout the process we as a family were kept informed and given valuable advice.
No question was a silly question which put our hearts and minds at ease.
Daddy is settling in nicely and we look forward to him enjoying this latter stage of his life surrounded not only by his family but also with caring care providers.
Thank you Leanne and the Braywood Gardens team.
Braywood gardens meet all the needs of my mum . She seems happy although I wish she would participate more in the activities on offer. The staff are very helpful and encouraging. Both my sister and I feel confident that she is in a safe environment.
Thank you for taking the time to review. We are pleased that yourselves and mum are happy with the care provided. We are very passionate about engagement and will review the activities offered to mum, with look to capture any particular hobbies or interests.
Clean and well maintained establishment.
Thank you for taking the time to review. We are extremely proud of our dedicated team. We are pleased that you are happy with the care mum receives.
My mother has been a resident of Braywood Gardens for the last four years. She has advanced dementia and is bed bound. A detailed care plan is in place and she is also on a specialised diet. The majority of staff are really friendly and react well to any issues raised. Cleanliness is well maintained and it always feels like a safe environment for the residents. Overall, I am very pleased with the level of care given and feel confident that any issues that arise will be dealt with promptly.
Thank you for your review, we will pass on your lovely comments to the team. We are glad that you are happy with home.
My mum was only in the care home for just over 3 weeks but during that time the care she received was excellent. Everyone we encountered were very friendly and welcoming and they ensured my mum's last weeks were as comfortable as possible. They even made a fuss to make her last birthday memorable.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are so proud of the team and are honoured that you allowed us to be a part of your mum's journey.
My stepdad went into Braywood Gardens Care Home from hospital when he had a fall and has Dementia. They are brilliant with him hes so happy feels safe and well looked after and then my mum went into the care home in December 26. They have there own rooms but sit together in the lounge for meal Mum dont sleep at night very confussed they are so good with them both, always clean and dressed nice
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so pleased that you are happy with the home and that both mum and stepdad are happy here. I will pass your feedback on to the staff.
Without exception, every one of the team is kind, caring and very respectful.
She could not be in better hands, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Braywood Gardens to anyone looking for a care home for a relative.
Thank you for your lovely review, we are glad that yourselves and mum are happy with the home and care provided. I will pass your lovely comments onto the team.
However, she does get anxious because another resident goes into her room on occasion and search through room and takes things which upsets my mum.
Other than that, I'm totally happy.
Thank you for taking the time to review Braywood Gardens, i'm glad that you are overall happy with the home and your feedback is always appreciated.
From the moment I first visited, the staff were brilliant, warm, and welcoming. It's clear that they are not just performing a job; they genuinely care for the residents. The level of friendliness displayed by every member of the team is truly outstanding.
I have been consistently impressed with their care. They handle every situation with professionalism, kindness, and immense patience. Knowing that my mum is in such safe, capable, and compassionate hands provides me with such peace of mind.
A big thanks to every single member of the team for the dedication and hard work they put in every day. Thank you for helping my mum and for making her feel comfortable and valued.
Thank you so much for your fabulous feedback, we are so happy that yourself and your mum are happy. I will pass on your wonderful comments on to the staff
This is a really nice care home, they accommodate the needs of my mother really well. The staff from management to frontline are brilliant, very professional but most importantly, very patient and caring. I always feel reassured that my mother is safe and looked after well.

My mother has been in the home since 2021. We have had an excellent experience. All staff (carers, management, cleaners, catering, wellbeing) are absolutely fantastic and so caring in all they do. We are hugely appreciative for the high standards offered by this fantastic home, which we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we are so glad that you are happy with the home and mum's care. I will pass on your comments to the team.
The staff all go above and beyond and we certainly feel like we are all a big family whenever we visit.
Upon entering the reception you feel like you are walking into a hotel rather than a care home, more than happy, keep it up guys you are amazing.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so glad that you are happy. I will pass on your comments to the staff.
Dear ALL of the staff at Braywood Gardens, I would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU, for everything that you do for my friend. My friend is very well taken care of, she is understood & valued for who she is. My friend has quite a sharp wit & she always leaves a smile of folks faces ! All staff are very friendly & kind, we are always met with a warm welcome. My Dad has been very ill & the kindness & interest towards my Dad is above & beyond. I thank you, from the bottom of my heart for this, it means so much to Dad and I ! I have had the pleasure to join in my friend's exercise class & Bingo, both great fun! There are regular clubs to attend & special activities over festive dates, St.Valentines, Mothers Day, Easter, Summer Fair etc. My friend is always well dressed, clean & fresh. A special THANK YOU to unit staff- all have great banter with my friend & are so good at what they do! To five members of staff, in particular, laundry & domestic staff, cooks. The manager you're a legend of a man(ager)!
Thank you so much for your time, comment and review of our wonderful home, our staff and the care we provide is testament to the home and all of the wonderful residents, their friends and loved ones. We are so happy you enjoy the activities on offer, and join in with them, again thank you for your wonderful review of the home.
Braywood is like a little family, and the staff are great. Always approachable and have time to talk. They post lots on social media which is good to see what's going on, the manager is supportive and often helps with the activities in the home. This is great to see. On my last visit to see my mum the laundry woman was having a good laugh with my mum, it means so much to me.
Thank you Braywood Gardens
The food was good, access to the cafe for tea and biscuits and company.
Staff lovely and made time to chat
with him. Was checked on at night, which made him feel safe.
So happy we picked Braywood Gardens. He's going back in May and for future respite.
Thank you for these Wonderful Words, we do very much look forward to seeing you both soon.
Mum has been a resident since October 2023 and is very happy and settled. She was diagnosed with dementia although remains very aware of why she is where she is and thanks to the care and support of the staff and great leadership of the home manager, is in a remarkably better physical and mental place than she was when at her own home. A home that she was resolutely determined to stay in as she believed nothing was wrong and that she would never go into a care home. Now she is at Braywood Gardens Care Home, she realises that her life has improved and always talks of how she cannot fault the staff or the care she receives.
Thank you for these wonderful words about our care home, we very much appreciate all our reviews and are so glad that we have been able to make this transition into a care home a positive experience. It is always our pleasure to provide care for loved ones and support everyone.
On the whole, the care at Braywood Gardens Care Home is good but small things (my husband is bedbound), things left out of reach (book glasses, TV controller). Also, I have been told he is having new grabrails put on his bed two/three weeks ago - still not done. He has fallen out of bed a few times. Some staff are lovely - others never speak to him. I know my husband sleeps a lot, sometimes forgets and I know he only wants to sit up in his chair 1 to 2 hours but I feel a bit more could be done. He enjoys conversation and would enjoy to go to any entertainment. We enjoyed Valentine's Day - everyone went to a lot of trouble. Lastly, recent fire drill - my husband was not warned - felt vulnerable.
Me and my son and family thank everyone who looked after my husband. Nothing was ever too much for the staff and the carers as well as kitchen, and domestic workers too. I was all thankful for them looking after my husband and our 60 years together was a lovely surprise for what staff and carers did for us. My husband was happy being in Braywood and so was I.
Thank you for this amazing review. We so enjoyed yours and your husband's company and the many special moments we shared.
