Mum has been a full time resident since March at Jubilee Court since it was deemed she need full time nursing care. After looking at various homes I am so pleased that we have chosen Jubilee Court. From our first look round and chat with the brilliant Managers (who put us as a whole family at ease) about what services they provide and how they can look after Mum best.
All of the amazing staff are professional and do have genuine pride in the roles that they fulfil. Nothing is ever a problem and seem to go above and beyond.
The activities are provided daily and anyone who is able can take part, it's nice to see Mum getting involved sometimes as keeping her attention always seemed to be an issue. The lady who runs the activities is brilliant and I don't know how she manages to think up so many different things to do!
The food is excellent and always plenty for seconds!
I have so much peace of mind knowing that all of Mum's needs are met 24 hours a day.

Thank you Jubilee Court!

I have a lovely room on the residential floor and the food is good and plentiful. Staff are on hand to help up give advice if they can or refer us to who can help. Activites and outings are arranged and visitors are welcome.

I could recommend Runwood Homes Ltd and Jubilee Court Care Home with Nursing to anyone contemplating carer homes or residential home for themselves or their family members.

My husband has really enjoyed his stay at Jubilee Court. The staff were excellent, compassionate and caring. The food was good and the surroundings clean and comfortable. We can't thank you enough for the care, compassion, and encouragement my husband has received during his respite. He is more positive and much improved since his stay.

It broke my heart when I drove my dad to the care home. We tried everything to keep him at home, but due to his constant falls and the many hours we spent with him, it became dangerous for Dad and very stressful for me and my wife. When we arrived at Jubilee Court, we met the front-of-house staff and manager. Instantly, we felt assured, and this continued with the manager's 100% support and professionalism. Oh, and the staff and cares were second to none. Really, really! Genuine carers who looked after everyone's needs/ After a few days, my dad really settled in, and we always felt he was looked after. Amazingly, he really responded, despite his dementia. Thank you.

Mum has dementia and is extremely anxious, but since going into Balmoral at Jubilee Court, her anxiety levels have dropped, and she is starting to socialise more.
The staff are very attentive and approachable and have the care of the residents at heart.

Don't think we could have chosen a better care home for Mum.

Overall, a superb care home with super friendly staff who do genuinely care about the residents. I try to visit every other day where possible and try to go at lunchtime, so I can help Mum with her meals, this not only helps the staff because it's a very busy time for them but also myself because of Mum's condition. I find it gives me something to do and talk to her about things going on. If I see something not quite right, I tell a member of the team who usually acts on it straight away and is always approachable. Thanks to everyone.

They say third time lucky. My husband has been a resident at two other homes that were not suitable for him. I am really pleased he was accepted at Jubilee Court, as he is not without issues. The staff are really friendly and kind. Activities are laid on to get the residents involved and give them something to look forward to and entertain them. The manager is happy to talk to you, give advice and try to allay any concerns you may have. He can be seen engaging with residents; it is encouraging that he knows them by name. The home itself is nicely decorated, clean and bright. The bedrooms are spacious; I understand all the rooms are en suite. Once my husband has settled in, I am sure he will be happy there.

My brother has been with you for over a year and has received excellent, sensitive care throughout. I am based in Somerset with family and personal health issues, so I rely totally on the team at Jubilee Court. I am very pleased with the quality he receives .

I am contacted should he have a tumble out of bed or if permission is required for covid jabs etc, and also if he needs clothing or toiletries.

After ten weeks in hospital, we were keen to get our mum settled into a care home. Since she moved in, we have found very professional and caring staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Our mum is well cared for and tells us "everyone is so kind". Thank you to all the staff at Jubilee Court.

My mother has been in Jubilee Court for over 6-years. She has been cared for very well.
My father was there for the last 9-months of his life; he passed away at the home in December 2021.

The end-of-life care was absolutely superb. This was due to the carers in Sandringham Unit being so caring and compassionate towards him and our family. You would have thought he was one of their own family.

I love that my husband is happy here! And to be honest, that’s all that matters to me. But all staff are lovely. I enjoy all my visits. I find I can always approach most of the staff. He always has a lovely smile for me when I visit (which makes my day). I can honestly say two ladies, in particular, are always very helpful with any of my questions and queries.

Over the winter, the home seems to generally have had trouble with controlling infections. However, I am hopeful that this is going to be addressed by the new management.

Mum has always enjoyed the food at the home and there are ad-hoc activities she can take part in as well as a regular coffee morning.

We cannot thank the staff at Jubilee Court enough for what they have done for our mother. The care provided was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and the care and compassion were excellent. Every time we visited, Mum was always immaculate and had her buzzer in her hand. She was cared for and loved by the staff. The meals are a very high standard and activities. The care home looks like a hotel with beautiful rooms. A home from home experience.

My mum was very poorly in hospital, being looked after palliatively. All my mum wanted was to be in Hucknall where she has lived for 92-years. Jubilee Court had a bed. My guilt at Mum having to go into a home was diminished as soon as my first visit took place. From walking in the door and being greeted by the receptionist like an old friend was amazing. Everyone at the care home should feel proud of the care, devotion and respect they give not only to the residents but all the family.

Too many to list, poor standards all-round. My father suffered two injuries, and on the first event, I was informed six hours later. Second event, he had fallen and taken to hospital. I was informed seven hours later. No information on which hospital. Sent him to a hospital appointment via taxi on his own.

The care our mum received at Jubilee Court puts our minds at ease to know that she is being so well looked after each day. Not being able to visit Mum inside has been very difficult during the Covid pandemic, but the staff made visits possible for us to have via a "pod or window visit" when allowed to by Government ruling. Yesterday, I was able to go to Mums room for a visit to see her, and to say I was excited would be an understatement. Everything from the lateral flow test to full PPE was provided, and I felt extremely safe going into the building to see Mum. There were lots of happy tears when I saw Mum, but the feeling of joy to be able to hold her hands after almost a year is something I will never forget. Thank you, Jubille Court staff; you are all amazing.
