Sutton Court Residential Home

The attention to detail, the activities, such a diverse range and the facilities all make it clear to us that we have found where we need for the rest of our ongoing care needs. Was such a weight off our minds when we found this lovely, lovely home.

My grandad is a resident of Sutton Court and I just want to send my utmost thanks and gratitude to all the lovely staff for their kindness, respect and love you give him. My grandma visits every day and you make her feel so welcomed and loved as well. It gives me and our family such an amazing feeling that he is looked after and feels part of an extended family. Thank you Sutton Court for everything. From a granddaughter who loves her grandad more than anything in this world.

He was sent with a support bandage to prevent his splint from rubbing his leg and on visiting him I asked staff to ensure it was applied. This did not happen and he has arrived home without this preventative measure.

I have found all the staff at Sutton Court very friendly and professional towards myself but most importantly my mother and all other residents. My mum has settled in well due to the way all the staff treat her, care for her and involve her in all the activities in her day-to-day life. My mum can be a little hard to deal with at meal times but this is dealt with easily with the understanding staff. Overall a great place for mum.

Awful service. Left my parents here for two weeks, and had to fetch them home after one. They were neglectful and their internal investigation was a disgrace in my opinion. Please be careful if your family member resides here. There is so much more I could say.

Absolutely fantastic, everyone is kind, caring and so very thoughtful. Everyone made me feel so welcome. Everything is here. Food well I ate it all. I'm truly going to miss everyone. I can't wait to come back when I'm a bit older. Thank you all.

My mum has resided at Sutton Court Care Home for almost two years now and is completely settled and happy there. The staff are excellent and very person-centered to my mum's needs. They also make me feel very welcome when I visit and I love chatting to the other residents and joining in with all the fantastic entertainment. The discos every Friday ran by the staff are superb and the residents love them. She is amazing at what she does as is the activities coordinator and the care staff are wonderful. Management also keep me well informed and ensure my Mum is safe and well and gets involved with all the residents and knows them personally which is lovely. I went to a Valentine's dinner there the other day and it really was amazing. They have entertainment and something planned every single day. I know my mum is being well looked after and that makes me very happy.

The staff were good and very pleasant. Good food.

We are very happy with the help and care my husband has received whilst he is in your care.

I cannot recommend this care home highly enough, they looked after my mum with great care and she thoroughly enjoyed being a resident there, unfortunately, Sutton Court is not a nursing home, if it was, my mum would still be there as I was very reluctant to move mum to a nursing home. Thank you to all the staff for what they did for my mum, I will never be able to thank them enough.

I am so happy with the amazing care Mum is receiving. The staff are absolutely fabulous. Mum is a relatively new resident and at first, I was so anxious that she wouldn't settle in so well, she has made new friends, is involved in activities, she looks so much better than I have seen her in years and has an amazing quality of life. Thank you Sutton Court - you are amazing!

The staff at Sutton Court Residential Home have been very welcoming and helpful. My elderly aunt seems really settled and happy here and she seems to be eating well. She really enjoys the activities that are run by the staff, especially the bingo! As we live so far away, it is very reassuring that she is being so well looked after.

Excellent people looking after the people who cannot look after themselves. We are very thankful for their time they have to spend with us.

All of the staff were warm and welcoming. My grandad loved staying here, he had made friends with some of the other residents, and he loved the staff that cared for him. We visited regularly, and nothing was too much trouble; the staff could not do enough for us and my grandad. The manager and her team were a pleasure to deal with, and I could not have asked for anything better for my grandad.

My mother went into Sutton Court for rehab after breaking both wrists. As a family, we did not want her to go into a care home and were keen to get her back home as soon as possible. However, her stay was made positive due to the care and understanding shown by all the staff. We visited every day and were also made to feel come and observed excellent practice by everyone involved in caring for my mother. Thank you.

All the staff were supportive in the physical and mental realms. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all cheerful. I made a lot of friends during my seven weeks there. The personal attention I was afforded was fantastic down to the fact that I did not eat meat and care was taken to ensure my meals were meat-free.
