Sutton Court Residential Home

I've lived here eighteen months and I feel safe and satisfied with everything.

The staff are kind and allow me to have rests when I need them.

Everybody is friendly, kind and helpful. They make relatives and friends very welcome.

Mum was made to feel welcome from the minute she arrived. All the staff are so happy and cheerful all the time and work well together. I was concerned leaving Mum. She is non-weight bearing and was dependent on the staff for everything. I quickly realised we didn't need to worry. They have always been there every time she has needed assistance and nothing is too much trouble for them. As a family, we too have been welcomed and offered drinks whilst visiting. Thank you to you all, you really are fantastic!

My mum was placed in Sutton Court straight from hospital to be assessed for between 4-6 week to see if she was capable of returning home. Mum's 6 weeks is up now and in our opinion, she's not ready to go home, so myself and brother have decided to let her stop in Sutton Court. Since she has been here, the staff have been amazing with her. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. If you need any assistance, someone is there straight away. We dealt with the manager and her assistant and they were absolutely fantastic. They put our minds at ease straight away. My mum has settled in now and we hope is enjoying all the activities provided for everyone by the staff. Thank you, everyone, at Sutton Court for making a very hard decision a very easy one.

The staff are friendly, supportive and dedicated to their work. The majority of the time it is clean and tidy. The food is mostly good. Staff are helpful to family when required.

Though it is upsetting to see my grandma this way, she seems and often comments how friendly everyone is here, that is also my experience. She is happy and well looked after. The staff are lovely and make a fuss of her which makes her smile. They have lots of activities and facilities including a lovely outside area. Her room is very nice and clean. Even though she is not a permanent resident she is treated the same as one which is nice. The food looks good and she has always enjoyed it she tells me. If she has to be cared for residentially, I am glad it is here.

All staff are welcoming and always interact with all residents. Staff are always polite and pay a lot of attention to residents who need more assurance settling in.

The staff need more training as to how the patient feels on that day. With some illnesses, the patient has good days and very bad days. Not quite able to cope.

I have found nothing but kindness during my stay.

I can't explain how good this care home is. All staff are polite and very helpful, meals are out of this world and it is pet-friendly - I could bring mum's dog in if I needed to. Rooms are excellent and beautifully cleaned daily. There is a swimming pool I could use if I wanted to with my family. If I needed to come into a nursing home I would happily come to Sutton Court for the rest of my living years.

I found Sutton Court really nice with amazing staff. The quality of care is really good. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I have lived here for about three years. I am happy living here. I am on a special diet and my meals are good and suitable for me. Staff are good and look after me well. My bedroom is comfortable. Activities are good.

Pamela has been always staying here. The carers have been nice to her. She has enjoyed her meals. She likes the dining room.

We have found all members of the staff excellent, friendly and very caring. They keep the standards very high. I found this very reassuring when we needed it. They work together as a good team. It's more like a big family. Nothing was too much trouble for them regarding my mother.

My mum has been in here for a few months now and she is doing really well. She has put on weight and hasn't fallen in the time she has been there which she had done a lot before. The staff are all lovely. The food is always good and the care also. Very good as she has found somewhere so good.

I also enjoy the activities.
