I don't have any problems with this care home. My mum is very happy, well looked after and thriving thanks to all the amazing, lovely staff members. I couldn't recommend a better place! Every time I go, I am welcomed with open arms and offered beverages, my mum is always clean and happy. They do multiple different activities with the residents that are allocated to each season. Honestly, I wouldn't put my mum anywhere else, this place is the best!

My mum has been at Little Heaton for over a year, and I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care she receives. The staff are outstanding-compassionate, dedicated, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure residents' happiness and well-being. There's a full schedule of activities that keep her engaged and social, from crafts to exercise classes, and she always has something to look forward to. The food is fantastic, with a wide-ranging menu that's both nutritious and delicious. Her room is spacious, clean, and feels like home, offering the perfect balance of privacy and community. Communication with the care home manager is seamless; she keeps me updated regularly on my mother's health and progress, which means so much. Little Heaton feels like a second family, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a caring, respectful, and nurturing environment for their loved ones. I can't thank the team enough for the peace of mind they provide.

We visited several care homes when needing to place Mum in a 24-hour facility and am so glad we found Little Heaton. Each and every one of the staff are kind and compassionate not only to Mum but to the family too.

The carers treat Mum with dignity and kindness and we know that she is safe and well looked after.

My husband was placed into Little Heaton back in August 2024 after leaving the hospital. He is now a permanent resident the manager and all her team are fantastic, they are so caring and nothing is too much trouble. I am broken that my husband and I have now been separated after 23 years of living together but I know his safety is paramount and little.

Heaton staff give 100% care and dignity they also are very friendly and understanding as when my husband's dementia is at a high level and makes me cry, they always have a shoulder to cry on. Anyone thinking of having to place a loved one into a care home then consider Little Heaton, it is like one big happy family, from the cleaners, laundry staff, kitchen staff, carers, team leaders and the manager. They all make you feel welcome a massive heartfelt thank you to the manager and all her staff.

I couldn't be happier for the care my mum receives at Little Heaton Care Home. My mum has a good relationship with all staff members. My mum has been a resident here for over three years now and is so settled and happy living here so a big thank you to all the staff of Little Heaton.

Mum has been a resident of Little Heaton for just over a year and she settled really well, she is happy and the staff look after her very well. Mum has put much-needed weight on with the good food. The staff are friendly and caring and keep me informed of how she is doing, my mum is treated with care and dignity and she is so much more comfortable than being at home on her own.

Do not leave your loved ones in this "care home". No care was given to any of the residents in my opinion. I witnessed a staff member screaming in an elderly lady's face because she asked for a cup of tea, residents falling on more than one occasion while the staff sat having a break or were outside smoking. Moldy sandwich's were served for lunch on a dirty plastic plate. No activities planned for the day, just say in the common room with the same channel on all the time. Wouldn't let my dog stay here for an hour never mind a cherished loved one. Disgusting place needs to be closed down.

My mother has been a resident at Little Heaton Care Home for over a year now. The care she has received from each and every member of staff has been, as if, she was their own mother, exemplary. From what I have seen, and I go regularly, it's like home from home. The people there also get enrichment from people being brought in to sing with them, do quizzes with them, talk to them, exercise with them, learn to drum along to certain songs etc. If it's someone's birthday they'll make a cake and a fuss on that person's special day too. I honestly could never thank them all enough, the staff care very much for the residents under their care. I would never want my mum to be placed elsewhere ever.

This was the best care home for my dad after going around a few.
From the staff in the kitchen and care home staff and management, I could not ask for a better home to put a family member into.
The residents are treated with care and dignity.

I could not ask for a safer and better place.

Mum was treated like a queen from the very 1st day to her last day, all the staff welcomed Mum into their home like one of the family, all her needs were met with care and dignity. The staff went above and beyond for our mum and kept us informed or everything, little Heaton is a beautiful friendly loving home with delicious home-cooked food and we will never forget how all the wonderful amazing staff came to our family rescue in Mum's dementia journey, we will be eternally grateful to each and everyone, without little Heaton care home and there truly amazing staff mum's and the families journey would have been a lot darker.
