Anchor's Beechfield Lodge in Salford is a purpose-built care home, providing quality care and facilities within a comfortable and relaxing environment. Located in the heart of the community, it provides residential and dementia care for up to 60 customers. They continue to welcome new residents for permanent and respite care.

Beechfield Lodge's en suite rooms provide studio flat accommodation, which they encourage residents to personalise. These comprise of a kitchenette, in addition to bedroom space and a private shower room.

Beechfield Lodge is proud to have achieved Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) accreditation to be able to provide appropriate support to veterans requiring care.

The home provides residential care which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life. The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met.

Anchor provides dementia care and provides ongoing training to care staff to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

Our mum moved into Beechfield Lodge Care Home in September this year, just a couple of weeks after losing our dad and her beloved husband of sixty-eight years. They had been together in another care home since April of this year. Sadly Dad had a fall and had to be hospitalised where he, unfortunately,
passed away some five weeks later. I won't name the previous care home as there is absolutely nothing good to say about it hence the reason for moving our mum once Dad passed away. We have nothing but good things to say about Beechfield, care being the operative word because that is exactly what Mum gets. The staff are genuine and you can see they love what they do, nothing is too much trouble and Mum has become part of the Beechfield family. She has a lovely room with an en-suite and her own little kitchenette which gives her some independence. Visiting is a pleasure now and we can leave her with complete confidence knowing she is getting the best care there is, she is so content and this means the world to us.

My mum became a resident at Beechfield Lodge in September, newly bereaved after losing my dad after 68 years of marriage, they were together in another care home from April, an experience we would not wish on anyone hence the reason for moving Mum.
I have to say, from the day she moved in we have nothing
but praise for the care she has received. Her room is so homely, the whole team are so genuine with the care they deliver and are warm and friendly and very approachable. The home is spotless, the standards of cleanliness are high, and all areas are fresh smelling. There are monthly check ins with family and any issues or concerns are dealt with promptly and respectfully. As a family we are so relieved Mum has settled in and now feels she has a new family, as that's how all the staff see the residents (Beechfield family) and because of this we get such pleasure and reassurance when we visit and come away knowing she is in good hands. This means everything to us.

My mum was a resident at Beechfield Lodge for over 8 years. The care, attention and respect that my mum received was outstanding during her time there. The staff are utterly outstanding, so caring and go over and above.
Rooms are kept to a very high standard, security is brilliant, and it's just an
overall outstanding place to live. The manager and her team are outstanding.
We entrusted them with our crown jewel, our mum, and they never ever let us down. Mum very sadly passed away over the weekend and yet again they excelled in their respect for our family.

From our first visit to Beechfield Lodge, I was so impressed with the building, the staff, the facilities and the room of my father-in-law. We were so sorry that we had to move to a nursing home, but when our time comes I hope that we can get a place at Beechfield Lodge.

Lovely care home. Lovely staff. More like a hotel than an elderly person's home. The meals looked delicious. The staff are very pleasant and amenable. Would recommend.

My mother was a resident in Beechfield Lodge for 15 months. In July 2022, her dementia took a massive decline. The staff at the home have always been extremely caring and understanding of her condition, even through the trials that Covid brought. During her last days, we were staying day and night.
The staff were amazing, providing drinks, food and lots of support. Nothing was too much trouble. Even finding a priest to give last rites is an almost impossible task.

Mum came into Beechfield Lodge from rehab where she had had a very difficult time through the pandemic and had deteriorated considerably. After a few weeks at Beechfield, she had settled and was beginning to improve - her mobility and wellbeing improved, and even her memory - despite having dementia.
I believe that this is down to the care and attention she has received from the lovely staff at Beechfield and the smooth running of the home.

Accommodation roomy and homely. Good care provides all needs. Personal care, cleaning all meals which mum has a choice of. The staff encourage mum to make her own choices. The staff always welcome us and answer all questions asked. A member of staff is always pleasant and chatty along with other colleagues.

The care and dedication of the staff at Beechfield Lodge is exceptional. I would like to put on record a special mention of a care assistant who goes above and beyond her contractual duties to help in any way she can. My mum was 90 in October and the staff arranged a lovely afternoon tea event for mum,
my sister and I to enjoy under restricted conditions. A huge thank you to the housekeeper and her kitchen staff for making this possible. I couldn't ask for any better care or attention.

I am unlikely to recommend Beechfield Lodge to anyone whose relative has similar needs to my mum. For the first three years that mum was resident at Beechfield, we were happy with the level of care mum received; with most of the staff (some of which were extremely caring) and with the physical environment
which was clean, light, and airy. Prior to Covid, the activities were good - although mum wasn’t always included in these. The problem for us was once mum's needs increased and she needed more care. Beechfield Lodge didn’t respond to this - resulting in neglect: significant weight loss, unwitnessed falls, and injuries, and mum spending most of her time alone in her room. These factors all contributed towards mum becoming depressed and accelerated her dementia. After many conversations with management, they eventually suggested mum’s needs would be better met in a nursing home. It saddens me that this wasn’t suggested six months earlier when they first realised they were struggling.

Some staff are amazing with Mum. Very good and attentive to Mum's needs and communicating with the family. There is the odd one member of staff that do not seem to know Mum or how to speak to her. I appreciate this is human nature and will always get some people who are naturally caring. Overall very
