The best recommendation I can give regarding this care home is the outstanding qualities of the carers who work there. I visited many when I realised my mother would at some point require moving into a care home. It was the most difficult and upsetting decision I have ever had to make. A lot of the care homes I visited looked very similar with respect to furnishings, cleanliness, etc. However, there is a certain 'warmth' about The Beeches Care Centre. This can only occur if you get a sense that the carers actually care.
After four months I have witnessed genuine respect, dignity and a sense of fun. As one carer put it on the very first day to my mother "We (the carers) are living in your home"

It just goes to show it's not what's on the outside but whats on the inside that is important.

Mum died in the Beeches Care Home today. The care and compassion shown by the staff was outstanding, she died with dignity and was blessed with the love shown by the staff. They went above and beyond their duties, some of the carers came in on their own time to care for her. All the staff should be commended for their dedication to the residents. They not only cared for mum but also constantly offered drinks and hugs to all the family.
