The initial contact with the home was very positive. All staff friendly and helpful. Witnessed level of care first hand from Management and Carers. Exceeded my expectations. All staff respectful and caring towards residents. Activity coordinator a real asset to the home.

Daisy Nook House is a lovely, caring and friendly place. Bright and clean. The staff are all brilliant and the care my mum receives is second to none. She needs help getting around, as can no longer walk independently, and has to have a special puréed diet. The staff deal with these matters with utmost
care and attention. There are plenty of activities the residents are encouraged to join in, but not forced to. Personal preferences are taken into consideration. Mum is very happy in the home and this is a great relief to our family. Before moving to the home our visits to mum involved looking after her between carer calls and we were constantly worried how she would be when left on her own. Now visiting mum is a pleasure. We all have peace of mind knowing she is well looked after and someone is there 24/7 should she need help. The best decision we made and I would highly recommend thus home to anyone.

I couldn't be more pleased with the level of care our mum receives at the care home. The staff are truly kind and attentive, and it's clear how comfortable and well looked after she feels. She has made new friends, she has great banter with them and the staff.

My uncle has been a resident at Daisy Nook for a couple of years and we are really pleased with his care since he moved in. The staff are fantastic & really work hard to fulfill his needs. We are not local but they keep us updated through phone calls & social media groups so we can see him and know

My husband has been resident at Daisy Nook House for 4 years. He is truly cared for and looked after very well there. I couldn't be happier. It is such a happy place and there is always something for the residents to do. They are not left sitting with no option but to sleep or stare at the TV.
I am delighted to say the hard working staff always take time to encourage them to take part in whatever is going on at a given time. Those residents who prefer to opt out then the staff often sit with them, talking to them. This is lovely and reassuring to see as my husband is not much of a 'joiner-in'.


My daughter and I looked at many Care Homes before Daisy Nook House and no matter how much 'show' other Homes put on for visitors, some cracks are always visible, atmosphere, overall cleanliness, smell and the general feel of the place cannot be hidden. When you are looking for a home away from home for a loved one you want the very best for them and Daisy Nook House is just that.

When choosing a care home for my mum I visited several, none were as welcoming and understanding as to what Daisy Nook staff were. They took the time out to show me around the home and responded to any questions that I had.
Initially there was a waiting list for a residential place. The staff kept
me up to date, and as soon as a place was available the transition from hospital to the home was done smoothly.
Mum settled in really well, with the staff ensuring that she was not isolated or feeling left out.
To date November 2025, mum feels secure and safe at Daisy Nook, she engages in activities and enjoys the companionship of other residents and staff.
To keep family members up to date, the social media page is excellent.
The staff have respect for all residents, showing care and compassion. The home is clean and well maintained.
I cannot thank the staff enough for what they do.

My nan has been a resident of Daisy nook for around a year now and the staff are always quick to answer the door, flexible with visiting and trips out , and overall very friendly. They have made the situation of having her in the home massively more comfortable, particularly with the additional activities
they do with all the residents. The food always looks to be good options although I still haven't had chance to try it.

Very happy with care provided to our mum. The staff overall r very caring & committed to giving the best care. They r friendly sympathetic & adapt to mums ever changing needs they also look after us as family. Nothing is too much & any concerns r always dealt with immediately.
The entertainment treats
games etc r excellent ,& Lyndsey works so hard to raise funds for resident / family treats & events. She keeps everyone involved & entertained.
Can't thank them enough for making the last 18 months as stress free as possible.

My aunty has been at Daisy Nook care home since August this year. She always tells myself and my wife how lovely the staff are, and said they can't do enough for her. She also says she can't fault the food, and that the entertainment is really good. There are numerous activities throughout the week,
and her social life has improved, meeting new people, compared to when she lived alone at home.
We have met the staff and got to know them. They are always approachable and honest, answering any questions we have. Their friendly demeanour really lifts the atmosphere and we are relieved my aunty is in a lovely, safe and caring environment.

Hi my mum has been a resident for nearly a year and when she first arrived I was more worried about her than she was. But wow what a fantastic group of staff all lovely ,friendly and welcoming.
There is such a good atmosphere that you can feel when you walk in everybody is always smiling and nothing
is too much trouble for the Staff who always have time for everything.I know my mum is in good hands at all times and it's much appreciated

Mum has been a resident at Daisy Nook House for approximately 4 1/2 years. In all this time I have never had any concerns about the care that mum receives. She is treated with dignity and respect by everyone who works there (all the staff are really friendly to me whenever I visit as well). Any concerns
noticed by the staff are discussed with me and regular reviews are held to make sure I'm aware of how mum is doing. The time I spend with mum is an absolute pleasure and can rest easy knowing that mum is receiving the best care she can. I cannot express in words how grateful I am to everyone there for everything they do every day.

My sister has been at Daisy nook for a few months now. It has a lovely atmosphere, you can guarantee theres always laughter when you go, your made to feel welcome from the moment you walk in to the time you go. My sister looks so well and cared for. Nothing is too much trouble management are always
happy to help and the activities are fabulous. There is a big entertainment area, which is fabulous. I wouldnt want my sister anywhere else.

I feel very lucky that mum has a place here in such lovely surroundings. All residents are clean and well dressed, and nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff who are always kind, helpful, and positive. There are plenty of spaces to sit and have a chat when visiting, and the garden area is
beautiful. The many activities provided keep us all stimulated and give us all something to look forward too. Communication is good and I feel Mum's needs/requirements are listened to and she is encouraged to be as autonomous as possible. The web page is a stroke of genius for family and friends when they can't visit but can stay up to date.
