My mum has now been living here for over eight months. The staff have not just given my mum the utmost care, but have supported the family. This was a transition made easier with their empathy and understanding.

I have always been impressed with the staff and their care of my sister - who I know can be challenging at times. The cleanliness is also the best I have seen after seeing my mother and mother-in-law also in care. I have found the staff very helpful in facilitating my visits. All-round very pleased with my sister's care.

My mother has been a resident for four years and has received the best level of care bespoke to her needs. The staff are lovely and very committed to their role and the residents that they care for. I am very grateful for all that they do and thankful that my mother lives where she does.

The staff at Daisy Nook House are great, they always have a warm welcome. Every time I go to visit, the home is clean and has no odour. There is a lovely family atmosphere. Staff are always very respectful. My friend has put on weight and looks a lot healthier and this is down to the care she is receiving and there is always cake!

My late uncle was a resident at Daisy Nook. The commitment the manager and his team have to the care of the residents is second to none and I would wholeheartedly recommend allowing Daisy' staff to look after your loved ones. It's not just a care home!

The manager and his staff at Daisy Nook are amazing!
My sister moved here following stay's at two other care homes, both of which she hated.
I understand that it was difficult to please her when in reality she does not want to be anywhere else but back in her own home.
My sister settled in very well and quickly at Daisy Nook, mainly due to the efforts of the friendly and welcoming staff.
She was not eating well before her arrival and was down to skin and bone. It was quickly identified that she was struggling to feed herself due to her shaking hands (Parkinson's). She loves the food at Daisy Nook and the carers take the time to help her eat her meals. she has since gained weight and looks far healthier.
I cannot praise Daisy Nook enough for the dignified care they provide to their residents. My sister now feels safe and happy to be part of the Daisy Nook family.

I would not hesitate to recommend Daisy Nook. Thank you for going that extra mile to make all your residents happy and settled.

I find all the staff very friendly, informative and attentive. Moving Mum into a home was a tough decision but we made the best choice for her and she has been welcomed and settled in extremely well, even if Covid has made it difficult. The staff have done everything they can to support Mum and all the family.

The staff are absolutely amazing with the events they create for the residents and the fundraising they do to raise more money.
I must say that I feel the staff deserve a pay rise as I have never seen anybody work as hard as they do and the ethical way they work is just second to none.

You need to appreciate what you have! This is to the management.

I would like more activities. Also, some staff need training when dealing with a blind resident - I am confused when more than one person is speaking to me in my room. Otherwise, really good staff.

I can't tell you how extremely happy, as a family, we are to have my wife at Daisy Nook House Care Home. The staff are so considerate towards the residents and so understanding towards their needs. We looked at many homes before choosing Daisy Nook House and we were so lucky to have been able to get a place, thanks to the wonderful manager.

Mum has been in the care of the Daisy Nook House Care Home staff for over three years. This month was the first time we have been able to visit her in her room since the pandemic. How wonderful it was to see that the homes excellent standards have been maintained. Her room and the wider building we passed through were clean and fresh with doors open to the garden bringing in the warmth of the autumn day. Mum was as content as she has always been under the care of the devoted staff. During the past two years, we have shared in video calls, window visits and have been made aware of any changes in Mum's condition. All the staff should be praised for their commitment to providing only the best possible care for our loved ones and for that our family are truly grateful. You are all heroes.

My aunt came to Daisy Nook House Care Home in December 2020, during the pandemic. From the very first day, the staff treat my aunt with kindness and dignity. Since that date, they have all excelled themselves with their love, care and kindness towards her and to my aunt's extended family. Nothing is too much trouble and I can sleep at night knowing my aunt gets the very best of care.

Mum is being well cared for and is happy living at Daisy Nook House Care Home. The staff are committed and nothing seems too much trouble, they understand her needs and always go the extra mile. Many thanks to all the staff for all their efforts in these difficult times.

We are unable to fully assess Mum's room as she only took up residency in December 2020 and due to the pandemic, we understandably have not been able to gain access.

You cannot find a nicer home for anyone. The staff are a pleasure to be with they treat the residents with respect and go way above-being carers and the shows they put on are amazing. The Christmas fairs they do and raise money for the home is brilliant

Our gran initially went to Daisy Nook house for respite care. Unfortunately, she has been unable to return to live independently and has now got a permanent place. Since being at Daisy Nook House we feel she is well looked after. She looks healthier, smiles more and is very sociable. We regularly see our gran and bring her out for a few hours which she enjoys. She is able to share all her experiences of what she has been doing. We have never seen her so sociable. The staff are friendly and available to share any worries and vice versa. If there are any problems they will ring to inform us. Our gran is not very good with her mobility and we feel so much more at ease that she has 24-hour care readily available and feel this move has done her the world of good. It's always a hard decision to make for loved ones but we feel this move has provided a safe environment for our gran. Thanks to all the staff for the care they provide especially during a difficult time.

My mum went into Daisy Nook House in January 2020 Just before the Pandemic. The staff have been lovely with her and the care they have provided is excellent. I cannot thank them enough. It has been so hard not being able to physically see my mum only seeing her through the window, even on her 90th birthday. But the staff made it as special a day as they could for her, for which I was so grateful. The Manager is lovely and always available if I need to speak to her about my mum. She always has time for you and offers reassurance and support. I am so happy that my mum is being well cared for especially in these difficult times. I will always be grateful to the staff at Daisy Nook.

My nanna has been in Daisy Nook care home for nearly 18months now and the home has given her a new lease of life, all the staff are brilliant with her and have a great relationship and always have her best interests at heart. She always seems happy and well looked after. Lockdown has been hard for everyone but knowing that my nanna is getting the best care has made it a lot easier. We have been able to go to the window within distance. The staff have kept us up to date with video calls and pictures and the entertainment they have had has been brilliant and kept my nanna's mind off everything. As a family, we cannot thank everyone at Daisy Nook care home enough for everything they have done for my nanna and would 100% recommend this home.
