On visiting today I was very happy to see such a lovely home. The best I've ever visited and I've been to a lot. The staff were excellent. The rooms are so clean. No nasty smells. The food looked good and I was offered a drink, that's never happened before. I would highly recommend Daisy Nook House to anyone. The best ever!

My dad came to stay at Daisy Nook following a long stay in hospital. He was reluctant to be in residential care, as I'm sure most people are initially. However, he is very complimentary towards the staff and feels he is well looked after. My dad doesn't always join in activities, but I am particularly impressed with what the home has to offer, to ensure adequate stimulation for the residents. Staff are friendly and the home is immaculate, standards are high and I would definitely recommend.

We can't thank all the staff enough for all they did in helping our mum celebrate her 80th Birthday. The staff members really do care and look after the residents very well. A big shout out to the events coordinator who just went out of her way to help with the preparation, nothing was too much trouble. We made very special memories on this day which means a lot so thank you to Daisy Nook.

I honestly can't praise the approach of the manager or the staff team at Daisy Nook House where my aunt has lived for 2 two years. The manager always makes the effort to come and say hello and the staff are so welcoming. My aunty has put on weight, always looks well kept and is always taking part in the activities. One staff member, in particular, is an absolute star. I can't recommend Daisy Nook high enough.

Staff always remember who I come to see and always know where she is. Staff have always been very helpful and welcoming. No false pretences, just genuinely care and give lots of attention not just to my friend but all the residents in their care.

I have found the care home really nice from the moment I set foot in it. Mum initially needed respite for a month, but in reality, it was going to be a permanent move and so we as a family wanted her to go somewhere, and only have to move once. The staff, led by the manager, are all really helpful, always have time to talk about how Mum is doing, what activities they have coming up and how she has enjoyed participating in recent events.

We love the fact that it is a lot quieter and calmer than other care homes we have visited. We feel happy that Mum is getting the care and attention that she needs here and the staff always try to do their best for her, and all the residents in there.

I can’t even begin to explain or show my gratitude to every single staff member for their commitment and sheer dedication, the care and compassion they show their residents and each other. Even during covid the dedication to keep everyone safe was paramount I can’t thank them all enough. My dad started his dementia journey with Daisy Nook and finished his journey with Daisy Nook. I can’t express the gratitude and appreciation and dignity you have shown me and his family. Much love from us all and thank you!

Dad moved into Daisy Nook on 17th April 2023 and has settled in really well from day one which was a very smooth transition. We were welcomed by staff on arrival and informed about the planned care of Dad and about the home in general, and any questions raised by us were answered either then or since.

Dad appears to be settled and well cared for from what we can see, as he has dementia it's difficult to communicate with him, he can't tell us how he feels. Thank you.

My mum has been in Daisy Nook House now for over 10 years. I cannot fault any of the care and attention she has received over this time. The staff are brilliant with her and see to all her needs. I wouldn't wish for her to be anywhere else as she has Alzheimer's and has been slowly deteriorating over the last few years. I would just like to thank everyone at Daisy Nook House.

My brother has really enjoyed his stay at Daisy Nook House, the staff have been lovely with him. He settled in really well and we only moved him so he can be nearer to family, who will be able to visit him more often.

Mum's health has deteriorated recently and the care and compassion not just shown to mum but to family to has been amazing. The team have genuine knowledge and concern for what mum prefers and goes out of the way to make it happen even if sometimes it isn't easy. The communication of health issues and the concern for her well-being has been right across the board with the team at Daisy Nook and I cannot speak highly enough of them. Leaving mum is never easy but knowing she is in such good, safe hands and she is as happy and as comfortable as she can be makes it a whole lot better and I cannot recommend the team at Daisy Nook enough.

My aunty moved to Daisy Nook House 4 months ago and I am so pleased with the care they are providing. The home is extremely clean and the staff are very caring and welcoming to the family. I can tell my aunty is happy at Daisy Nook House and the care she has been given has improved her well-being and she is much more content. They are great at communication and are always happy to help with any questions and the staff genuinely care for the residents, the home is nicely decorated throughout the seasons and they organise activities to keep the residents entertained. It is a great relief to know your loved ones are being taken care of well. Thank you.

My aunty has lived in Daisy Nook for around a year and the difference in her is amazing. From a lady who never wanted to go into a home, this has now become her sanctuary. The staff are fantastic and we are always welcomed with a smiling face. There is never an odour and my aunty is always presented nice.

Mum moved into Daisy Nook House a couple of months ago and I am very pleased with the home in general. She had come from another care home which had closed down so she was very distressed but over time she appears to be quite settled. I find the staff very approachable as is the manager. Mum always looks cared for and everywhere is clean.
