The staff are good, my husband is looked after with dignity and he does think a lot of the staff.

If ever I have a query, it does get sorted out rather quickly.

Always very friendly, nice place, a nice room my nana is in. Nana seems really happy/content and that's all we ask for to see nana happy, settled, being cared for and looked after.
Carers are nice too.

Thank you.

The love the carers give to each and everyone of the residents is beyond belief, its like they are part of their own family. Lots of smiles, love and laughter. Bless you, all! Love this care home and so glad I chose this for my father.

Fir Trees is a home that meets people's needs as best they can maybe need more staff on certain shifts when it is busy when the residents need more time.

Maybe go round with a meal list asking what they used to eat in their day and age, more variety of old fashioned meals.

Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Staffing is allocated according to our resident's dependencies and this is reviewed at least monthly or more regularly if required. HC-One operates a food and beverage programme called 'food in...

My father recently passed away in the care home. My father was a resident for over two years, the staff have always shown him compassion and respect. The love and care that he was given during his final days was outstanding. I couldn't have wished for a more loving and dignified passing for my father. The staff not only looked after my father but looked after me during a very difficult time.

Mum had problems walking, poor gait. The day care team was onto this right away. After a quick test, there was a concern of a potential fracture to her hip. We were called, as was the ambulance, at about 2 pm. It arrived at 5 am the following morning. I sat up all night with Mum aided by the night team. I cannot praise the staff at Fir Trees enough. The only people who let us down were the 'digital team' fielding the ambulance call out.

The Fir Trees is the third such facility I have had experience of and Fir Trees is by far the best I have experienced. The building and facilities are excellent. The treatment my Mother has received is excellent, the Staff are a credit to the care profession and go out of their way to make her happy. Thanks to all.

Mum has been in Fir Trees for seven months now. She has settled in really well.
The care she receives is excellent and I know she is being cared for every day by people who love doing their job and treat the residents as if they were their own family.

I enjoy going visiting Mum now as we can sit and chat in a friendly environment and all the stress has been lifted so that I can have my own time back to spend with my family at home.

My mother was a resident of Fir Trees from September 2015 until her death in June 2017. In that time she received nothing but expert care and support from a dedicated and professional management and staff. Particularly towards the end of her life, the love and concern of the staff towards her was plain to see. I could not have wished for a more caring home and staff that Fir Trees and would readily recommend the home.

My wife has been in this care home for two years and the care she receives is excellent. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable and the food is excellent with a choice of meals. The staff are extremely caring and are aware of the needs of each resident. The management is very good and complaints are addressed immediately. An all round good care home.

Mum came to live at Fir Trees in January 2017. This decision didn't come easily for the family. Mum has settled in well over the last 4 1/2 months, knowing she is safe, well cared for, happy and has company of the staff and residents is a huge comfort to all the family. Mum had a fall in March and broke her femur. Mum has recovered well and I'm sure had it not been for the support of the staff encouraging, assisting her and mums strong will, I wasn't sure it would be as quick as recovery without the care team and recently she has been discharged from the physio team. The majority of the staff are caring, attentive to the needs of my mum. They try their best to make all the family welcome when we visit mum. A huge thank you.

Apart from a few times when there was a lack of communication, I found all the staff to be very caring and considerate not just to my Mum but also myself and partner and our family.
She passed away early January 2017 in 'her home'.

We couldn't have been treated any better.
