Overall Experience
My mother has been living happily at Handsworth for over six years and during that time she has enjoyed a real home from home environment. Recently she has been very ill and spent two weeks in hospital, her eyesight has significantly deteriorated to the point that she is classed as 'partially sighted'.

My mother was extremely anxious when she returned to Handsworth, being confused by the changing surroundings. The staff were wonderful in taking extra care of her, reassuring her, even helping her with her meals until she felt content to manage again by herself. She is now content and settled in the comfortable, caring and familiar surroundings she knows.

Overall Experience

Handsworth has provided a safe and secure sanctuary for my aunt whose health (physical) has deteriorated. The cleanliness, bight environment, friendly and experienced staff have helped the family at this difficult time. The location enables my aunt to be wheel chaired down to Altrincham and the gardens allow my aunt to exercise as well as enjoy the flowers and plants.

Overall Experience
After looking at a number of care homes for my mother, I found that Handsworth looked as if it provided an excellent level of care with interesting things for the residents to get involved with.
My mother has now been at Handsworth for about 2 years and I have been very pleased with our selection and the level of care and service provided.

This was an excellent choice.
