The care my gran received was fantastic. The carers obviously care a great deal about what they do and they do it very well. I am so happy that my gran was looked after by these lovely people until she passed away. This is a nice care home and I would recommend it to others. Thank you.

Unfortunately, my brother only had a short stay at the home before his passing but in that time I cannot thank the staff and management enough.

The home is so clean and nothing was too much trouble.

Many thanks.

I was very pleased with the way Mum was welcomed into the home by staff.
She settled quickly and talks about the high standards of comfort and cleanliness.

Over the Christmas period, we were made very welcome and were able to join in with the celebrations yet there are facilities to visit in quieter areas without having to go to the resident's bedroom.

My mother-in-law is very happy here. She settled in well straight away.
I am impressed with the staff and the home itself.
All the staff I have met are very friendly, caring and helpful. They are lovely with the residents and I have noticed how they join in activities with them. They are welcoming to visitors, offering tea and extra space.

The home is delightful - spacious, light, clean and comfortable.

I can sum up Norley Hall Care Home in one word excellent. The management and staff are always helpful and pleasant. The carers treat the residents with respect and as individuals. The facilities are kept up to date and the rooms are decorated to a high standard and the whole atmosphere is very homely. I was particularly pleased when mum moved into Norley Hall we were encouraged to bring personal items including furniture for her room making it more familiar. The residents are taken out on trips and have been frequent visitors recently at a Sensory Farm, an outdoor facility with animal petting and fishing activities specifically designed for the use of persons living with dementia and their carers.

The menu is varied and constantly reviewed. The building is spotlessly clean. I can recommend this care home to anyone.

Immediately on entry, the home impresses as a calm, organised and welcoming environment. Residents are at ease, content and comfortable. All staff, without exception, are engaging and friendly and happy at their work. After 64 years in her own home, our Mum settled in instantly and feels both happy and secure. Standards of care, both day and night, are exceptional. I have no hesitation in giving my highest recommendation.

Welcoming and caring. From the moment mum went to live there my sister and I have been delighted with the cleanliness, quality of food and attitude of the staff not only to residents but also to us.
We certainly feel sure that we have made the right choice of care home.

One which treats not just mums dementia but also her mobility problems whilst maintaining her dignity.

Overall care and support is excellent. Staff are very caring towards residents and their families. Having to leave a loved one in a care home is a hard decision but we are confident to know that he is cared for and well looked after.

My mother has been a resident of Norley Hall Care Home for over 4 years and although she is sadly deteriorating she has always received the same high-quality care as she has always done. The staff are very caring and nothing is too much trouble for the residents' care. I am more than happy and have never been in any doubt whatsoever about my mother being a resident of Norley Hall. I recommend this care home wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a suitable Care Home, to look no further than Norley Hall Care Home for their relative.

It is now four and a half years since my mother became a resident in Norley Hall Care Home. Time has passed so quickly and I cannot thank all the staff who help to provide the wonderful care to my mother and all the other residents who have made this their home. Trying to find the correct care setting is a massive task. Some of the current press reports appear to show care homes in a bad light. It would be good if they could visit Norley Hall so that families could see what a good care home is able to provide for our loved ones.

The manager and her deputy are fantastic. I can honestly say that if more care homes had managers and staff like this care home no one would be afraid of placing their relatives in this type of setting.

The owner of Norley Hall is continually making improvements to ensure everything is of the highest standard.

How likely would you be to recommend Norley Hall Care Home? Extremely Likely and this is my honest opinion.

After only a few short weeks I could see an improvement in mobility and mood. Everything here is geared to the resident and all staff work for the benefit of residents. Above all, it is a home from home.

Everybody in the home has been brilliant, and I mean everybody.

Their care is second to none, cannot praise them enough. This home has rebuilt my faith in care homes as you hear so much bad press about them. Those people want to come and check this home. Our family cannot thank you enough for looking after my man. God bless you all.

Our Mum has only been in Norley Hall Care Home a short while, however, we have found all the staff we have met so far to be very responsive to Mum. The home itself is kept very clean and always looks bright and pleasant. We are a large family so there are plenty of us visiting at various times and all of us have commented how well mum is being looked after. It certainly helps to know our Mum is being looked after so well and gives all the family peace of mind. Would certainly recommend this home.

My Dad has been in Norley Hall since April and he is 94. All the staff treat everyone with respect and make me feel that they really care for my Dad. He is very happy. When anything has happened where he has needed to go to a hospital, they have contacted me straight away and alway sent someone from the care home with him. It is bright and clean and they include everyone in any activities.

I have been in the health and social care sector for over 30 years now, starting out as a young care assistant at just the age of 19.

It was while working with dementia residents, especially, that I found my calling and knew that this was what I wanted to do.

From assistant cook to carer to senior, I worked as a theatre assistant in the hospital environment, also working my way up to home manager almost 8 years ago.

I have achieved all NVQs in health and social care, from Level 2 to Level 4, and a Diploma-level 5 in Leadership and Management.

I am a very interactive manager and love nothing better than to sit and chat with each of the residents that we care for at Norley Hall. My aim is that each and every one of them feels like part of our family.

I am cheerful and positive and lead by example to deliver the highest standard of care possible.

I believe that quality activities and interactions are as important as eating, drinking and sleeping. If we get this right, then we can be sure that our residents will have the quality of life that they expect.

Kindness is contagious… let’s share the kindness bug.
