I have to phone quite often to speak with my relative which is sometimes difficult to get through but mainly it is ok. The staff are lovely, helpful and very supportive of families. Always respond to any queries. I sometimes don't know if Mum is joining activities as she forgets so would find that helpful to know. We are able to go out with our relative and they are flexible with her return.

Very friendly atmosphere. Staff are informal, however, always professional. Good rapport with both management and carers. My mum is happy at Upton Grange and is well looked after. Any concerns are always taken seriously and actioned (if necessary) immediately. Thank you for caring for my mum so well.

Upton Grange is a fantastic care home. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for respite, residential or dementia care. The staff are caring and attentive. Cleanliness is first-class, just wish Dad could stay here indefinitely, unfortunately, due to his decline he has to find another establishment.

The staff are friendly and attentive to my mother's daily needs. She is settled here and seems content with the home and all the staff who do a brilliant job. She is well cared for and the care home is clean and tidy. My mother's room is on the shady side of the building so it is dark but she doesn't spend much time in it and prefers to be in the lounge.

I would like to see more activities throughout the year as in December.

A very well-run care home with excellent staff.
I have no doubt that Mum is happy at Upton Grange and that she probably would not be still with us without the care she receives.

Here's hoping that she will make it be 100 years old, September 2024. Well done all at Upton Grange.

We had our auntie's 90th birthday at the home and we could not have wished for anything better. The home provided the food and cake and all the guests said how wonderful it all was. We would recommend the care home to anybody that was looking for the best care for their relatives.

Five-star.

My mother-in-law moved in earlier this year, and during this time, we have got to know all the staff. The levels of care and attention to detail given to making both my mother-in-law, my husband and I feel is just like a home-from-home experience. Recently, she was even taken out to visit Christmas lights and brought back a lovely present, which she has in her room, and the staff took time to show me photos taken. They go that extra mile, and we couldn't be happier.

After a background in care homes I was pleased to find somewhere for a friend that met/surpassed my expectations. Within six weeks I have seen improvements in his health and well-being. I put this down to the good care given by the staff. There are always enough staff to talk. Rooms/facilities of high standards, no unpleasant smells, food menu offers lots of choice.

From the day my mother-in-law entered Upton Grange Care Home, the care and communication have been excellent. Despite some falls and hospital admissions, the staff have been first-class.

We are blown away with the level of care and kindness all of the staff showed towards Dad. Everyone always has a smile on their face and stop for a chat. Any concerns about dad's health are instantly taken on board and everything possible is done to help him.

Ever since my mum moved into Upton Grange over two years ago, she has received absolute care, and I'd go as far as to say, love. We are confident in the staff's commitment to her. She is now in her 104th year and enjoying her life. She says she is lucky, and so are we.

With Mum having been totally independent before her heart attack, it was a big leap for her to leave Sussex to come to Merseyside, to be with us. Unfortunately, her health deteriorated and we had to look for a care home. Upton Grange has been superb. Mum is the happiest she's been for years. Thank you, Upton Grange.
