Anchor's Upton Grange is located in the Wirral and it is purpose-built with the care of its residents in mind. Each of the single 52 rooms benefits from en suite wet rooms and fitted furniture. There are also a number of facilities including a hair and beauty salon, tea room and quiet lounges and seating areas.

The home is operated by Anchor and it provides residential care which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life. The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met.

The staff are always helpful and kind, tolerant and caring towards both my mother and myself. Her room is always kept clean and tidy.
The only snag I would say is the length of time it takes to open the front door as I believe there is a problem with the doorbell.

We are blown away with the level of care and kindness all of the staff showed towards Dad. Everyone always has a smile on their face and stop for a chat. Any concerns about dad's health are instantly taken on board and everything possible is done to help him.

Ever since my mum moved into Upton Grange over two years ago, she has received absolute care, and I'd go as far as to say, love. We are confident in the staff's commitment to her. She is now in her 104th year and enjoying her life. She says she is lucky, and so are we.

With Mum having been totally independent before her heart attack, it was a big leap for her to leave Sussex to come to Merseyside, to be with us. Unfortunately, her health deteriorated and we had to look for a care home. Upton Grange has been superb. Mum is the happiest she's been for years. Thank you,

My relative has settled in very well. She gives positive feedback on all visits. She says that the food is good, her room is cleaned regularly (even the door frames) and that the staff are wonderful. She is delighted with the laundry service. Her brother and myself got a pleasant vibe from the surroundings
when we first visited and thought that it appeared clean and bright and that the staff were very welcoming. So far we do not have any regrets at choosing Upton Grange to take care of our relative.

Moving to a care home is never a simple decision for the individual or the family. Upton Grange offers and delivers a kind, comforting environment. Staff show respect and care for residents and work hard to make their experiences happy and memorable. Today the dining room is decorated to celebrate the
coronation. So much effort is on display to ensure all residents have a wonderful day. This type of effort is consistent. The environment is clean and well-maintained. Food is of a great quality and residents social, physical and medical needs are well provided for.

Mum has been a resident since February 2022. Her care has been excellent. She is treated with courtesy and kindness. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Catering is very good and Mum enjoys a wide variety of home-cooked foods. Staff are kind and try to accommodate everything that a resident might
want or need. When an issue might arise, staff and management respond very positively to feedback.

After several falls and a worrying time in hospital, Mum recently moved into Upton Grange. She specifically wanted to live here since a respite stay last year.
The manager, administrator and all the care staff are wonderful in their care of Mum and nothing is too much trouble when it comes to her
safety and well-being.
She has a lovely room and excellent facilities and she loves it here.

My mum-in-law celebrated her 100th birthday in hospital with Covid after falling at home, so we wanted her to move into a safe environment.
We already had experience of Upton Grange after a respite stay so it was the obvious choice. Mum loves it here, the staff are wonderful and the building and rooms
are bright, spotlessly clean and the whole atmosphere is one of friendliness and kindness.
She wants for nothing and we can visit her at any time, the regime is very relaxed and welcoming. Meals are first class and the dining environment encourages residents to socialise, so I have no hesitation in recommending Upton Grange to anyone on the Wirral.

My mum moved to Upton Grange during covid among the highest restrictions. Due to circumstances, we were unable to visit Mum and see for ourselves how she was in the environment. The manager ad her team worked closely with us as a family to gain knowledge of Mum, her needs, but also allayed any concerns
we had. They were approachable and receptive if we had any concerns. Mum is now 2 years on and I wouldn't ever consider another facility. Mum is surrounded with a team who care.

Mum arrived during covid. It was a very difficult time due to restrictions and not being able to meet the team at Upton and explain Mum's restrictions and needs, however, we feel that the team reacted to any of our requests. Due to two years on, the team know Mum very well. They understand Mum and we
would not consider moving Mum anywhere else.

Upton Grange is a lovely care home with nice rooms, nice caring people and nice food. The gardens are lovely, I spend some time in the gardens. Entertainment and days out are very welcome. Upton Grange is lovely.

Whenever I visit my grandmother, the staff are very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The home is cheerful and bright. Everywhere looks clean and tidy. It’s lovely to see my nan involved in activities such as seeing the owls, enjoying the singers and dancing in the lounge.
