Anchor's Upton Grange is located in the Wirral and it is purpose-built with the care of its residents in mind. Each of the single 52 rooms benefits from en suite wet rooms and fitted furniture. There are also a number of facilities including a hair and beauty salon, tea room and quiet lounges and seating areas.

The home is operated by Anchor and it provides residential care which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life. The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met.

My mum-in-law celebrated her 100th birthday in hospital with Covid after falling at home, so we wanted her to move into a safe environment.
We already had experience of Upton Grange after a respite stay so it was the obvious choice. Mum loves it here, the staff are wonderful and the building and rooms
are bright, spotlessly clean and the whole atmosphere is one of friendliness and kindness.
She wants for nothing and we can visit her at any time, the regime is very relaxed and welcoming. Meals are first class and the dining environment encourages residents to socialise, so I have no hesitation in recommending Upton Grange to anyone on the Wirral.

My mum moved to Upton Grange during covid among the highest restrictions. Due to circumstances, we were unable to visit Mum and see for ourselves how she was in the environment. The manager ad her team worked closely with us as a family to gain knowledge of Mum, her needs, but also allayed any concerns
we had. They were approachable and receptive if we had any concerns. Mum is now 2 years on and I wouldn't ever consider another facility. Mum is surrounded with a team who care.

Mum arrived during covid. It was a very difficult time due to restrictions and not being able to meet the team at Upton and explain Mum's restrictions and needs, however, we feel that the team reacted to any of our requests. Due to two years on, the team know Mum very well. They understand Mum and we
would not consider moving Mum anywhere else.

Upton Grange is a lovely care home with nice rooms, nice caring people and nice food. The gardens are lovely, I spend some time in the gardens. Entertainment and days out are very welcome. Upton Grange is lovely.

Whenever I visit my grandmother, the staff are very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The home is cheerful and bright. Everywhere looks clean and tidy. It’s lovely to see my nan involved in activities such as seeing the owls, enjoying the singers and dancing in the lounge.

No problems with the staff whatsoever, but could do with more staff to cover peak time at mornings and bedtimes. Also, the food does vary in quality.

The carers within the care home are attentive to my mum's needs. They endeavour to accommodate all the residents' foibles, with a smile. They organise activities within the care home as well as excursions to varying places. Overall, this is a good place for my mum.

My mum has been at Upton Grange for over three years. She is settled and happy. The care is of a very good standard and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff - they are friendly and caring and make my mum feel valued and 'at home'.
The home is generally bright, airy and clean and also offers good
food. It is a comfortable place to live. I am very grateful for the care my mum receives.

My mother was in respite care for two weeks. The care was absolutely perfect. Mum enjoyed the whole experience, she compared it to a five-star hotel. No faults whatsoever. Every member of staff was caring, kind and thoughtful. Her medication was always administered regularly. Mum and Family would not

We arrived at Upton Grange Care Home after a long, difficult journey to move Dad into a care home near me. We were greeted by a team of staff (including the manager) who focussed immediately on Dad's needs. Our welcome was warm, friendly and, above all, truly caring. In the three days since, Dad has
settled well. I am confident he will be happy in his new environment.

Our mum entered the care home under extreme conditions during the start of Covid. We cannot praise all the staff enough for the care she had/has been given. The care home is fabulous. We, as a family, can't thank them enough for all that they do as a team for our Mum. Times have certainly been challenging
for us all, but her care did not suffer. Thank you all at Upton Grange.

After viewing several residential homes, I stopped at Upton Grange to enquire about care for my mum. I was greeted with a lovely member of staff who showed me around and was really helpful. It can be such a stressful time for all the family, but they were so helpful answered all my questions. Mum has
been living here for 4 weeks and I can't believe how she has settled so quickly. All the staff are so helpful and caring, nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this care home to anyone who is thinking of putting their loved ones into care.
