My relative has settled in very well. She gives positive feedback on all visits. She says that the food is good, her room is cleaned regularly (even the door frames) and that the staff are wonderful. She is delighted with the laundry service. Her brother and myself got a pleasant vibe from the surroundings when we first visited and thought that it appeared clean and bright and that the staff were very welcoming. So far we do not have any regrets at choosing Upton Grange to take care of our relative.

Moving to a care home is never a simple decision for the individual or the family. Upton Grange offers and delivers a kind, comforting environment. Staff show respect and care for residents and work hard to make their experiences happy and memorable. Today the dining room is decorated to celebrate the coronation. So much effort is on display to ensure all residents have a wonderful day. This type of effort is consistent. The environment is clean and well-maintained. Food is of a great quality and residents social, physical and medical needs are well provided for.

Mum has been a resident since February 2022. Her care has been excellent. She is treated with courtesy and kindness. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Catering is very good and Mum enjoys a wide variety of home-cooked foods. Staff are kind and try to accommodate everything that a resident might want or need. When an issue might arise, staff and management respond very positively to feedback.

After several falls and a worrying time in hospital, Mum recently moved into Upton Grange. She specifically wanted to live here since a respite stay last year.
The manager, administrator and all the care staff are wonderful in their care of Mum and nothing is too much trouble when it comes to her safety and well-being.
She has a lovely room and excellent facilities and she loves it here.

Thank you to everyone at Upton Grange.

My mum-in-law celebrated her 100th birthday in hospital with Covid after falling at home, so we wanted her to move into a safe environment.
We already had experience of Upton Grange after a respite stay so it was the obvious choice. Mum loves it here, the staff are wonderful and the building and rooms are bright, spotlessly clean and the whole atmosphere is one of friendliness and kindness.

She wants for nothing and we can visit her at any time, the regime is very relaxed and welcoming. Meals are first class and the dining environment encourages residents to socialise, so I have no hesitation in recommending Upton Grange to anyone on the Wirral.

My mum moved to Upton Grange during covid among the highest restrictions. Due to circumstances, we were unable to visit Mum and see for ourselves how she was in the environment. The manager ad her team worked closely with us as a family to gain knowledge of Mum, her needs, but also allayed any concerns we had. They were approachable and receptive if we had any concerns. Mum is now 2 years on and I wouldn't ever consider another facility. Mum is surrounded with a team who care.

Mum arrived during covid. It was a very difficult time due to restrictions and not being able to meet the team at Upton and explain Mum's restrictions and needs, however, we feel that the team reacted to any of our requests. Due to two years on, the team know Mum very well. They understand Mum and we would not consider moving Mum anywhere else.

No problems with the staff whatsoever, but could do with more staff to cover peak time at mornings and bedtimes. Also, the food does vary in quality.

My mum has been at Upton Grange for over three years. She is settled and happy. The care is of a very good standard and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff - they are friendly and caring and make my mum feel valued and 'at home'.

The home is generally bright, airy and clean and also offers good food. It is a comfortable place to live. I am very grateful for the care my mum receives.

My mother was in respite care for two weeks. The care was absolutely perfect. Mum enjoyed the whole experience, she compared it to a five-star hotel. No faults whatsoever. Every member of staff was caring, kind and thoughtful. Her medication was always administered regularly. Mum and Family would not hesitate to go back for respite.
