My mother has always been a keen flower arranger and gardener. and she has very much enjoyed the flower arranging afternoons that the activities team organised. One particular session used artificial flowers which now decorate the dining room table and she often proudly points out which arrangement she did. She also gets a lot of pleasure from being wheeled round the gardens and being able to smell, admire and name many of the plants. The church services give her the chance to worship and sing praises to God and chat to the ministry team from St Mary's Nantwich. She enjoys them
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are delighted that your mother continues to enjoy the flower arranging sessions, especially as gardening and flower arranging have always been such important interests to her. It is lovely to hear how proud she is of the arrangement she created, which now...
Overall I find Richmond to be of a consistent and exceptional high standard. All the staff are extremely helpful and professional ensuring all residents are treated with the same level of support and help. An impressive care home
Thank you for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear how much your mother enjoyed the mobile bellringing session. It is always so rewarding when we can provide activities that connect residents with treasured memories and lifelong interests, and we are pleased that this experience gave...
The management of Richmond is superb also, and from a relatives perspective they do everything they can to help me, alongside looking after Mum- if it was possible to give 10 stars I would!!
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review and for sharing your experience with Richmond Villages Nantwich. We are delighted to hear that your mum has felt so well supported during her stays with us and that she was able to return to her assisted living apartment following her...
Mum has lived in Richmond Nantwich Village Centre since last summer and is healthier and more relaxed for being there. It great to she is so well cared for..
The home is exceptionally well managed. All the staff - carers, housekeeping,, catering, social team, (and anyone I may have omitted) are friendly and compassionate which makes such a difference to my mum. The property and grounds are beautifully maintained and the social team provide varied daily activities, should mum choose to participate.
All in all, I thoroughly recommend Richmond Nantwich. It gives me tremendous peace of mind in knowing that we chose the right home for mum when she was no longer able to manage without care help.
Thanks to everyone and keep up the good work
We are incredibly proud of our whole team, and your kind words about their compassion,...
My mum was at Richmond for over 2 years. When she arrived she hadn't been out of bed for 8 weeks. Soon she was sitting in the chair, going for lunch and enjoying the entertainment, which is fantastic. Everybody cared and looked after Mum so well. I can't speak highly enough of everyone, including reception, care team, management, kitchen team, cleaners and generally everyone to come into contact with Mum. It's a lovely place, the room was very nice and the gardens were beautiful. I would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete this review; your comments are very much appreciated by the staff.
The care home is very welcoming! Friendly and very professional staff throughout all departments. Lovely decor and beautiful gardens. Food excellent!
Thank you for your thoughtful review - it means a lot to know you rated your fathers care so highly.
My sister was a resident of Richmond Care Home in Nantwich for over two years - she died last November. My daughter and I have just sorted out her suite so it may be sold. In all the time my sister has been connected with Richmond she has received the best possible care, and, speaking for both myself and my sister, she has been given the best possible care throughout the entire time and our thanks to all the team at Richmond.
Thank you for your kind words which I will ensure are passed on to all the staff. Your sister is sadly missed as are your regular visits to stay and visit her.
My husband has been in Richmond Care Home three times for respite, he has been welcomed with smiles and helpfulness every time. The staff care for the residents creating a happy atmosphere. Each time, the administration before my husband's admission for respite has been very helpful and pleasantly executed.
Thank you for your kind review and for taking the time to send through. I will share with the team.
Kind regards,
Allyson

They always have suggestions to try approaching things differently with her care when her dementia means she's more resistant sometimes.
A welcoming and very caring environment with the receptionists always greeting relatives with amazing knowledge of who they are and how Mum's been recently.
Mum's lucky to be able to be at Richmond Village at this stage of her life when she needs so much extra care and support.
Thank you for taking the time to complete your review, I will be sure to share your feedback with the team's.
Kind regards,
Ally

Every person we came into contact with was friendly and professional and we were particularly impressed with the pre-admission visit at home.
Mum got to stay in a beautifully decorated room with a balcony and a view of the gardens.
To know your loved one is being well cared for in such a beautiful place is a real comfort and we would definitely recommend.
Mum hopes to stay again when we are away next time.

A great experience from start to finish. Richmond responded well to my initial enquiry and were able to accommodate mum on very short notice after a hip replacement. The care has been great and all the services and food have been fantastic.

Dad was given a warm welcome in my absence, which was a massive reassurance when making arrangements remotely. He was able to participate in a wide range of activities. Staff were polite and courteous to him and his visitors. As the grounds were wheelchair friendly he was able to be independent on his scooter. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay - thank you
We're so pleased to hear that you feel confident and reassured about the care and support that your father received on his recent stay with us. Our team works hard to create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment, and knowing that this is reflected in your experience is incredibly rewarding....
My grandma is receiving such wonderful care here. The staff are so lovely, kind, and attentive nothing ever feels like too much trouble. Sadly, as she became more poorly, she needed more care and help. The nursing and care staff were once again an amazing team. Second to none!
My family and I were always welcomed by Receptionists who were helpful and understanding. This was particularly appreciated by me on my many visits to see Mum.
Many thanks are due to All Staff
Thank you for your lovely comments. It was a pleasure to care for your Mother - we remember her fondly and hold dear the many memories we have of her.
The activities team are all very hard working and have a wide range of things going on every day catering for a wide range of interests.
I cant fault the team at Richmond, Nantwich, I would highly recommend the home to anyone.
Thank you for a kind heart warming review. We always look forward to seeing you with mum when you visit. Take Care
My parents relocated here in 2011 and bought an independent living apartment within the Richmond Village complex. They enjoyed the activities and convenience of the restaurant on site, in addition to the tailored level of care available from the wonderful staff. My father died in 2013 and my mother continued to live in the apartment until 2022, when she decided to move into the attached care home. From the day she entered the care home, my mother couldn't have received better treatment from the care staff. They were all excellent, and the level of sensitivity and support they provided to my mother, and myself whenever I visited was exceptional. In fact I would go as far as to say each staff member became like a friend to me. I will particularly remember and be grateful the kindness shown to me when my mother sadly reached the end of her life. The level of personal care and attention given to my mother was heartwarming and comforting to myself and my sister. I'm forever grateful
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a heart-warming review of the care home and the staff. Mum was a joy to support and she is missed by all within the village. I will share the review with the teams. Kindest regards.

With over 14 years of dedicated experience working in health and social care, Abbi brings exceptional expertise, compassion, and proven leadership to the role. Her appointment represents a significant milestone for the village and underscores Richmond Villages Nantwich's commitment to providing the highest standard of care to its residents.
Abbie's career in care began immediately after college, where she started as a care assistant and steadily progressed through increasingly responsible positions, including senior care assistant and care coordinator in domiciliary care. Speaking about her appointment, Abbi commented: "Everybody locally knows Richmond Villages, and people always have something positive to say about it. The feedback from residents and families really speaks for itself, and it makes you feel proud to be part of something so well thought of." "No two days are ever the same, which I love, but what really stands out is the support from the whole village team. Whether it's care staff, hospitality, housekeeping, or kitchen teams, everyone works together to make sure residents receive the highest standard of care possible."

With 29 years of experience in the care sector, Kirsty has built a distinguished career spanning various roles in home care, management, and coordination.
