Grandmother came to live at Simonsfield, April 2016, best thing we ever did as she loves it. Home very clean and staff friendly and will do anything for their residents. Always something going on whether singers or activities. Their summer fayre is always amazing for residents and visitors. Xmas is special with entertainers and a pantomime on site.

My mum has been here 18 months now and she has made it her home. She likes to both sit with all residents and also the privacy of her own room. It's a welcoming and friendly place. She has put weight on and is well cared for. I'm so glad that we chose this care home. It's taken the worry and stress away.

Mum has dementia and is very well looked after. She has her own room and can be challenging, but the staff I have observed are very patient and kind, not just towards my Mum, but with all the residents.

I would recommend Simonsfield to everyone as the staff and manager are excellent, always happy to help, nothing too much trouble for them. A gorgeous place and always give my mum, who is a resident there, the care she needs. Couldn't ask for anything better. The care home is always clean, tidy and smelling fresh.

My sister was a resident at HH for six years. She was treated and cared for with love, sensitivity and true kindness. All the staff were professional and compassionate and treated my sister with great dignity at all times. When I visited my sister she was always happy and comfortable. She always looked lovely and it was obvious that she was extremely well looked after and great care was taken with her appearance. The staff are a credit to this care home. Excellent.

Sadly Dad was only at Simonsfield for less than three months before he died but we could not have wished for a more caring, homely experience for both Dad and the family. Dad's dementia had progressed to the point that the family were no longer able to provide him with the level of care that he needed and we were devastated to have to move him out of his home of almost sixty years. We need not have worried, the genuinely loving care that both Dad and the family received meant that he gained an extended family at Simonsfield.

The team of Carers are truly exceptional and their devotion to their vocation allowed us to be with Dad for his last few days as they really do look after the whole family, not just the resident. The home is spotlessly clean and it is obvious, on entering, that they understand and look after the needs of residents with dementia. We would strongly recommend Simonsfield to anyone looking for a home from home for their relative and support for the family.

Mum has been a resident at Simonsfield since early December 2016. I have found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and professional. The environment is very clean and welcoming. Like most relatives in this situation, I was very apprehensive when mum was no longer able to live alone and we realised she needed more care than we were able to provide. I have been reassured by the care, kindness and humour that the staff display when interacting with mum and other residents.

I am extremely happy with the care that dad receives. He is always cared for washed, clean and tidy. He is checked regularly even through the night. I am always kept well informed about dad's progress and health. The staff are always willing to help and take great care with all of the residents.

This care home is a lovely environment for my mum, she loves being there and enjoys the attention from the carers. They look after my mum very well. My mum gets a lot of visits in the week so we have got to know a lot of the staff and they know us. We did hampers for them for Christmas to show how much we appreciate what they do. They do work hard, I just feel that they could do with more staff especially when they are dealing with dementia patients. It is a lovely care home, clean, vibrant, modern and lovely little touches inside e.g. hanging baskets, flowers on the dining tables and pictures on walls. We are lucky with this care home as it is local for us too which is a big plus as it is not too far to see mum.

My mother spent over 4 years in Simonsfield. She was always treated with the utmost kindness, respect and humanity. Every effort was always made to make her feel cared for and happy. Nothing was seen as being too much effort or trouble to help her. There is an atmosphere throughout the home of teamwork putting the care and happiness of the residents at the centre of everything. My mother saw the staff as being part of her family and trusted them completely.

The home itself is fantastic. The only thing, the carers do not have any consideration for the residents, as they bang the doors. This home is very clean.

The management and staff have been extremely helpful throughout what has been a very difficult time for our family. Nothing has been too much trouble. My mother in law had been made very welcome and the staff have gone out of their way to make her feel at home. She has good relationships with several members of staff and she is settling in very well. My wife and I would have no hesitation in recommending Simonsfield to anyone.

Simonsfield Care Home is a home from home. No one wants a family member to go into a home. But my mother is in the best place. The staff are wonderful, they encourage their guests to join in with all the activities, which gives them a new lease of life. I would like to thank the manager and her staff for taking good care of my mother

It broke our hearts to have to put mum into care, she is 90 and has dementia. As soon as we saw Simonsfield I met the staff and saw how kind they were to all the residents our minds were put at ease. She is safe, warm, kept clean and treated with dignity. The staff all try and involve everyone, residents and visitors with events they hold. They work very hard are very happy and we are so glad to have them as part of our extended family now.
