Having brought my dad up from after his dementia diagnosis he was confused and upset. I couldn't of wished for more caring and loving staff. They have helped dad to settle in quickly, showing the utmost care and respect. The staff are just so dedicated and lovely I can't praise them highly enough. I'm so thankful that I chose Simonsfield for my dad. The staff are always available to talk and reassure, as well as to listen to any worries and concerns. Fantastic home!

After helping my mum choose a care home for my nan and grandad we viewed a few homes amongst them all, this is the care home we picked. Because on entering Simonsfield it was spotless, lovely and clean and all the staff are really approachable and friendly.

My mum came into Simonsfield last August and since she came in her health has been much more stable. I can't praise the home and staff enough. Nothing is too much trouble and my mum couldn't be better looked after. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere and you feel very at home when visiting. There is plenty of entertainment for the residents, the food looks lovely and everywhere is kept clean and fresh. It has taken the stress out of my life and I couldn't be more appreciative.

On first appearance I noticed how clean the place seemed. After meeting the staff I felt reassured that my mother and father-in-law were in good hands. They did everything possible to help them settle in. My mother-in-law had a few health issues which were dealt with very effectively, which gave my wife a lot of confidence in the care home.

Overall Experience

All the staff at Simonsfield have been wonderful caring and given my father in law respect, dignity and patience and kindness which has made his two sons and their families at ease, after the trauma of my father in law having his leg amputated in December 2014. We were told that he needs 24/7 care. As we all worked this was a worry. My husband and myself traveled and visited many care homes. We left them feeling emotional and unsettled. As soon as the Senior showed us the room and surrounding family rooms we were delighted. The Manager assessed our Father in law and he moved in within the week.

The family room is great. You meet other service users and their families all gather around chatting. One evening we shared biscuits sweets cakes and had a good natter. There are tea coffee and biscuits available all the time for families. Lovely homely atmosphere with excellent staff. Thank you so much xxxxx
