My father has been a resident in Gen Tanar since November 2016.

The home, staff and facilities are excellent. My dad's requirements and care needs are always met with help of all the friendly staff.

My friend who lives at Glen Tanar is very well looked after, my friend is very happy she laughs with all the staff, my friend looks at the care home as her own home. The staff at Glen Tanar are like one big family, they welcome you in, offer you tea, coffee or anything else. The all seem to enjoy talking and doing things with them. Taking them out to the shops and the sea front. Nothing seems to be a problem for them. I would recommended this care home to everyone I know as everyone goes beyond their duties.

The staff all seem very helpful and friendly. Nothing seems too much trouble for them. It is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, a true 'home from home'. I viewed many care homes prior to my father being admitted to the Glen Tanar, I narrowed it down to this one and another which are both owned by the same people.

My friend has had to go into the home as she was in a bad way, but I am very pleased to say she is almost back to normal. I have worked in many nursing homes as a carer, but this home is the best I've been in. It's a joy to visit, they make you very welcome at all times, nothing is too much trouble. I would give it 100%.

My mum's been in the care home for the last year and she loves every minute of it. She could not be in a better place, with all the love care and affection that is given by the manger and all her staff is beyond their call of duty. I could not fault this home in anyway and home is what it is.
