I am highly delighted with the facilities provided by the Riverside Care Home. My wife has fitted in well and we both think that the staff and management at the home are second to none. There is nothing to much trouble for the staff, The food and choices of food are marvellous, I cannot recommend the home enough. I am highly delighted with the choice I made

KAY - DAUGHTER My mum has been in Riverside since December 2024 she's always clean & tidy with her hair styled every week in the 'salon' which she loves. Mum always comments that the food is very good. All in all although it took some time, mum seems settled and happy. Its a relief for the family to know that she is well cared for

I am very pleased with Riverside. The staff take every care in looking after my wife. The premises are not ideal, lacking only a toilet in the rooms, but apart from that they are clean and well maintained. I have tried other homes but found none as good as Riverside.
Thank you for your kind review. Riverside bedrooms do have an ensuite with sink and toilet but are not shower rooms. We do however have several shower and bathrooms available for residents to use.
We will pass your kind words onto the team.
Good care given to Mum, always kept up to date with progress & health. Staff are all very friendly & loving towards mum & are always helpful. Lots of activities/events and entertainment are provided to residents and families are encouraged to attend & also to give their opinions regarding any improvement etc. (Activities are excellent, just awaiting a replacement employee).

I would just like to thank the entire team/staff of Riverside Care Home for their professional care, kindness and personal attention they give my father since he became a resident. The manager, Sue, went above and beyond her role to give our family support during his transition to full-time care. He is happy and relaxed. His quality of life has improved no end. Nothing is too much for the manager and staff. Can't thank them enough.
Thank you for your kind words. We will share your comments with all the team at Riverside.
My mum had a 2 week stay at Riverside in Septrmbrt 2025. I cannot fault any part of her care while she was there. All the staff were absolutely amazing, I would like to thank them all for treating my mum with the care and dignity that she deserved. Nothing was too much trouble, we asked and the staff made sure it was done. I observed the other residents while visiting my mum and they were all treated with respect and you could see that all the staff loved their jobs and not just doing 'a job'.

Their kindness, attentiveness and supportive atmosphere have turned what could have been a difficult transition into a very positive experience. Thanks to your staff at Riverside Residential Care Home, he is more than happy to make this his permanent residence. On behalf of our family, thank you.
