They have a baby corner, a pub, the staff do lots of activities, singing and dancing. All their residents look so happy and that is down to the staff not only providing exceptional care but making them feel at home and trying to make their lives safer, happier and more full filled. The home is well maintained and clean it looks very homely.
Well done to you all.
Thank you.
Moorgate Hollow is a great place to leave your loved one. The manager and care staff are absolutely amazing with their patient's needs and improve their quality of life to a very high standard. Having had to let my wife go into care after looking after her for the last 4 years, I have absolutely no regrets about putting her care in the hands of the staff at Moorgate Hollow. I have seen a vast improvement in her attitude and personality over the last few weeks. What an exceptional care home and so friendly and helpful to both the residents and their families. Well done.
My mum has well looked after since she's been in Moorgate Hollows. The staff are fantastic; they can't do enough for the residents. I'm happy overall with the service they provide for my mum, and my mum joins in every activity they do.
The staff there are always pleasant, polite and treat the residents with the utmost dignity and then they have to deal with us relatives.
The office door is always open to everyone and the work doesn't end there as they are always providing entertainment and raising funds through having things like sponsored walks. They have regular meetings with relatives and more importantly, they always have a smile on their face.
Last but not least the home always looks lovely and clean which is down to the lovely cleaning staff. Ladies, you are all angels, thank you.
I would definitely recommend Moorgate Hollow to anyone looking for a place for a loved one. My mum has been in the Moorgate Hollow since July 2018. and I feel so grateful to the manager, all the careers and the cleaners. The staff are very professional, friendly, caring and fun. It’s like one big family. During this COVID 19 pandemic, they have kept all the residents safe, happy and entertained, and my mind has been at ease knowing Mum is with them. They have kept families up to date with pictures on their Facebook page, and my mum actually looks better than she did, more relaxed and happy. It’s 10 out of 10 from me!
The home is well run, extremely clean and always welcoming. Also, the staff are caring, thoughtful, hardworking, and nothing is too much trouble. I have no hesitation in recommending this home.
I do not know of any reason why anyone could possibly find any type of complaint regarding this care home. My sister was placed in Moorgate Hollow E M I care home on discharge from hospital. She was very fragile and had experienced a dreadful ordeal meaning she had to be placed in a safe environment. Today, after years of care and recuperation, through misdiagnosed conditions, the staff of Moorgate Hollow have transformed her from a frightened, timid little mouse into an assertive member of Moorgate's Beautiful Care Home. The staff are truly wonderful - nothing is too much trouble and they are all a very professional, positive team that work as a team which makes this home a well-oiled machine of care, professionalism and love. I personally would recommend this home to anyone that loves their family member and wishes to be reassured that they are cared for with first-class staff.
I spent a long time researching care homes to find the right one for my nan. Moorgate Hollow stood out straight away. From the moment we walked it was obvious that this was an amazing place that offers high-quality care. The building and grounds are beautiful. The decor and attention to cleaning is brilliant. The staff are quite simply amazing! You feel like you are all part of their lovely family immediately. Nan has settled very well and the staff are so caring and attentive. I cannot recommend them strongly enough. Highly impressive team of people.
The grounds and the building are beautiful and the home is kept very clean.
This is an excellent care home. I thoroughly recommend it.
Thank you to the staff who work really hard every day.
I need to be able to know my husband is safe and well with caring experienced people looking after him. When I leave him at the care home I need to be able to relax in the knowledge that he is safe. The staff and the manager at Moorgate Hollow give me that satisfaction. There is always a doctor available to look after any health problems. The staff are excellent at participating during any entertainment. Overall I can highly recommend The Hollows.
The Hollow has a nice atmosphere and the carers are very pleasant and caring, makes me feel that my dad is well looked after.
My sister has been in care for eighteen months at Moorgate Hollow Rotherham.
Occasionally, her stubborn but she is always treated with patience and kindness. The meals are good and varied, rooms warm and comfortable. I am satisfied with her care.
I was recommended Moorgate Hollow by friends whose relatives had been cared for. Since my Mum has been there over the last two years the care has been great. She is very content and always looks well kept and dignified. The staff are always around and interacting with the residents and the staff make all visitors welcome.
The premises are a little small with only 25 bedrooms but that ensures a better service as there is up to five members of caring staff around giving a good carer/resident ratio. The food is excellent and all rooms are with a shower room and toilet. My wife is now weighed each month and has almost regained her previous weight. I would recommend this care home to anyone.
I cannot thank and praise all the care staff and managers enough for the care, dignity and respect shown to Mum and to family members.
They are friendly, very approachable and understanding and always make us feel welcome, nothing is too much.
I have no hesitation in recommending this home.
This home is clean and bright and has recently been refurbished. The rooms are a good size with private bathrooms. There are pleasant and varied common areas including the external quadrangle (nice in summer). The staff are friendly and caring and the majority are the same staff who have been there the 18 months I have visited. Nothing is too much trouble if a resident needs a personal touch. I would recommend Moorgate Hollow as a safe and caring environment for a loved one in need.
My Mum has been a resident in Moorgate Hollow for 5 years. During this time I have nothing but praise for the care and respect she receives. All the staff are amazing. I could not wish for her to be in a better place.
This home has very caring staff, they work long hours for very little.
The home is in need of decorating throughout.
My wife has been in this care home for 2 years now and I'm more than happy with the care and dignity she received. I really would recommend this care home.
I feel my aunty is very happy and contented living there, which gives me peace of mind. The home has a lovely pleasant atmosphere and there's always music playing in the background somewhere.
