Norwood Grange Care Home is on Longley Lane close to the beautiful Longley Park in Sheffield. The park is a favourite for local people, due to its unusual undulating landscape, magnificent views, mature trees and interesting history.

The home provides long-term residential care, dementia care and short-term respite care. With highly trained staff available 24-hours a day residents receive excellent care in a warm, homely environment from an exceptionally kind, caring and compassionate staff team.

Residents enjoy a wide range of activities and are encouraged and supported to fully participate in life in their home. From light dusting or watering plants, to laying the table for lunch, residents engage in meaningful activities on a daily basis.

The care home has close ties with the local community and regularly invites local schools and church groups to participate in events and activities. Volunteers from the local community have supported projects such as the creation of a sensory garden for residents.

I found the staff to be very caring and helpful to the residents. Most of the time, there is a lovely, relaxed atmosphere amongst the staff and residents. Music and singing and even dancing on occasions and regular drinks to keep them hydrated.

My grandmother lived at Norwood Grange for over 8 years. She was very well looked after over these years. Even at the end of her life, she was having the most amazing care. I wish everyone would be looked after the way she was. Top care home.

Despite her initial apprehension, mum has settled extremely well into Norwood Grange. The support and care from staff is of the highest level. Always approachable, polite and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Mum is happy, eating well and now looks and feels safe. Her confidence has grown and
it is lovely to see her take part in social events and activities. A big thank you to everyone at Norwood Grange.

Mum has been in Norwood Grange for about a month. We are pleased with the care she is receiving. The home is very friendly. Everything is very clean and her room is nice and tidy. She is getting looked after very well. She is still unsettled but the staff are very patient and understanding.

We were very happy with the standard of care given to our relative. The staff showed genuine compassion and interest in her wellbeing. The end of life care, in particular, was carried out with tact and diplomacy and our relative's dignity was fully respected. We were kept informed at all times. We can

Staff are doing a grand job from the management to carers, cooks and cleaning/laundry. Couldn't wish for better care for Mum in any way.

Highly recommended, my mum in law was in here 3 years and now my mum. My mum has been here just over a year and I find it to be a welcoming, homely atmosphere where I can enjoy time with my mum and find the staff to be extremely caring and I consider them as friends not just staff. My mum is very happy
here and wouldn’t want her anywhere else.

Norwood Grange is absolutely fantastic, there is no other word to describe it.
My nan is a resident there, the care is fantastic and our whole family can sleep easier knowing that the staff are providing excellent care for her and everyone else that lives there too.
