The carers at Rievaulx House are to be congratulated on their level of care. The manager, in particular, puts her heart and soul into her job.

My Aunt is registered partially sighted so cannot do this review.
She is 96 years old and finds walking difficult after two falls.
She also has dementia.
I was very pleased with the care.
I will be happy to bring her for respite in the future.

Thank you.

We were really pleased we chose Rievaulx House Care Centre for mum. She was happy there which made it so much easier for us. I visited every day so I know how good they were to her. From the management team and all staff. They were so kind and nothing was too much trouble for mum or us and for all of their care, we are so grateful.

I was welcomed into the home when I arrived without an appointment. I met all the staff whom were all very friendly and caring to their wards.
There was a group of residents with a care making crispy buns and even better Cadbury chocolate!
The rooms were large and well decorated with french doors out to a patio area. A fabulous place to 'retire' into.

A well managed and caring home.

I have only been visiting my friend for three weeks. The staff seem good, kind and helpful. The food seems to be good and varied. The home looks good and the staff cater well for everyone. The people who I have seen who live here look content.

I have lived at the home for several years. I love my bedroom. Staff are very nice people. My family come to see me a lot and the children come too. I enjoy a joke with the manager. I enjoy the singing at the home. I am free to do whatever I like.

I like it, I wouldn't come if I didn't like it. I have been six times this year for respite to give my husband a break. I have nothing to complain about the staff, rooms and food is good. I recommended the care home to my next door neighbour who also stayed at the home.

The thought of going into a home frightened mum - so when she needed respite care we went out to find a good place. Some homes are sterile and friendless environments - as we walked into Rievaulx we felt the friendliness, the feeling of homely caring. It felt like having a big warm blanket around us. We were right!! Mum loved her respite so much she wanted to make it permanent. Now she has - she is safe, well cared for and very very happy - GREAT!!
