My mum went into Windsor Court as a resident in May 2022 and what an amazing care home it is, all my mum's needs are catered for. The staff go above and beyond to make sure all the residents are well looked after.
It makes things so much easier for me knowing I don't have to worry about Mum's well-being, she's well looked after and loves the staff.

Thank you.

My mother, suffering from advanced dementia, spent the last four and a half years of her life at Windsor Court, in a wheelchair. She died recently aged 98. During that time - despite her frustration and often emotional state - she received the loving care she so desperately needed.
She had previously been in a much "smarter" [and more expensive] care home where she was very unhappy, due, I think, to constant changes of staff. Most of the carers at Windsor Court when she passed away were the same ones who greeted her four and a half years earlier - that's the fundamental difference.
I spent the last 50 hours of my mother's life in her room and the staff couldn't have been more helpful - even through the night the coffee never stopped. It gave me a chance to see first-hand the wonderful, caring job they all do despite being so tested by situations that arise and have to be dealt with.

Thank you to all the staff at Windsor Court from all our family.

My dad was a resident in Windsor Court for three years before he passed away earlier this year and was always happy and well looked after. He frequently had kidney infections when in his last home, but had none during his time at Windsor Court.

When staff put a catheter leg bag on upside down and leave the drain tap open there is something wrong with the training. I was told it was a mistake.

The staff made derogatory remarks about me on their phone after forgetting to switch their phone off.

My dad moved into Windsor Court Care Home 6 weeks ago I was pleased with how modern light and colourful it was on first viewing. My dad’s room is a good size with an en suite sink and toilet. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and seem to do their best to make the residents feel comfortable and at home. The manager's door is always open and is always happy to answer any questions I have needed to ask, as are all the staff. My dad settled in well he has a moan now and again but then we all do!

It is not an easy job doing the work the staff are involved in. It often needs constant care, attention and dedication. I recently attended the Queens Jubilee party held at the home, and all the staff did a great job providing a super afternoon. A special thank you goes out to all the staff who gave up their own time, working what would have been their day off to help with this event. I think that the kitchen/catering team also need a special mention for the effort and creativity of the buffet they provided at tea time.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Windsor Court, they are and have been courteous and helpful, they are in contact if there are any issues with my wife or her condition and also updates on what is happening in the home.
My wife has been a resident for almost 18 months and has never found the reason for complaint, my wife always seems to be happy and content which is a blessing for me to see.

I think possibly more could be done to the rooms to make them feel more homely.

After a difficult 2-3 years for Windsor Court, for all sorts of reasons (not just covid), things are improving. New management, some new staff who seem to fit in very well, some of the experienced staff are there to support them. The Wellbeing idea is starting to show good results. Things are happening. Maybe still lots to do and it will take time, but a good all-round improvement.

Staff members are very kind and helpful at sorting problems out. Also, they are friendly when assisting me when I first came in and supporting me with memory, chatting and explaining how to make crafts in activity classes, which I enjoy very much. A hair salon is available too and soon a cinema is to be opened.

My son took me out for the day and I said take me home, meaning the care home. I will say almost all the staff are more like friends. It would be impossible to like and be liked by everyone. At 95-years-old I am content at the moment to spend my last days here. We could do with more staff!

Mum has been in Windsor Court for 3 years and has been well looked after although there has been a few issues since the new manager has been there I feel that it has improved with communication foremost. Te staff who look after mum are very caring and a few are amazing with how they have been throughout the lockdown.

My father has recently become a permanent resident at Windsor Court having firstly gone in for a rest bite. Windsor Court have collaborated quickly and effectively with outside agencies to meet my father’s needs, enabling a smooth transition into the home for him. All the staff have been very approachable and friendly and in these difficult times of Covid have been caring and professional. I would highly recommend Windsor Court.

My mum was a resident. We put in a complaint after finding my mother left in bed until lunchtime she had not been washed with no food or drink and her catheter full to bursting on the floor. We told staff after this day she had no drink or a beaker. Her bathroom stunk of urine and some days the corridors also stunk of urine. She was left in bed most days so we had no alternative to remove her and take her to a better place.
