Windsor Court Care Home

I have fun with all the staff. Food is nice. I join in when I want. My daughter visits lots.

Visited a friend around 2pm 14th Nov and the whole home stunk of urine. This is not acceptable, is not dignified for residents. Also, a wheelchair my friend used to walk with had no working brakes and was dirty. I did report this to a member of staff (about the brakes) and she made no response.

Although my mum was well looked after, always clean and tidy, hair done, I think more staff would be better, especially, at weekends when staff seem to be minimal. I would like to say that all the staff were very nice and helpful.

My mother has lived at Windsor Court in Goole for 2 1/2 years and although her dementia is increasing the staff remain patient, kind and caring in every degree.

I would recommend Windsor Court to others who have relatives who find they can no longer live at home.

Everyone is so kind, plenty to do if I want to enjoy bingo and coffee morning. My family visit can come when they want.

I came from another care home but I do like this one, my own room is cleaned daily, the staff are kind, polite and hard working. The food is good with plenty of choices. I get up when I want, I please myself.

I like my home I get to play games and have fun. All staff like me. Thank you.

I moved from another care home - Windsor Court is much better, I do a little gardening, play bingo, I get lots of visitors. All the staff are lovely and kind. Plenty of people to talk to.

Since moving into Windsor Court I have found the staff very helpful and kind.

I live in a unit as I can't get out of bed but the staff always find the time to come and talk with me. The home is very clean and nice food.

Been here a lot of years. My family visit most days. I don't do activities but I can if I want to go out for a meal.

I visit the care home often and find managers and staff quite helpful. I've seen how caring everyone is and I will always be willing to help while possible.

I like my new home, the staff are nice and kind. I started Zumba on Saturday and it was fun.

Unfortunately, he died that night but his last few hours were good and we will always be grateful to the staff for all they did.

The staff are very caring and my mother seems to like them which is the main thing. I would like to see a better way of staff communicating or having information to hand. As an example; if I ask a question I don't want to be told "I've just come on duty" but would like to be told "I've just come on duty, but I will check for you!"

My mother will have been at Windsor Court for a year and has not had one arranged outing other than the supermarket. There is not enough stimulation but I can see this is due to staffing restrictions. The communal lounges smell of urine which is impregnated in the carpet and chairs, Sandringham looks to have had no update or care to attention for a long time.

The staff are always very nice and caring to my friend. She says they look after her very well.

My uncle is happy at Windsor Court, excellent care is given, as family we are always made welcome.

Staff seem very caring but sometimes communication is lacking with relatives. Overall satisfied with the care for my mum who seems very happy.

This is a very good care home with pleasant staff, a clean, attractive environment and excellent food. The management are engaged and responsive to suggestions and questions. My mum is well cared for here and I can feel happy to know she is safe. He condition has improved since she arrived here 6 months ago - she has put on weight and seems much happier and more relaxed.

Happy at the home everyone is so kind, I really enjoy all the activities making easter bonnets, playing bingo we have lots of fun. A very clean house.
