Ascot House offers long term, respite and day care within a home full of character in a central, yet peaceful, town location. An excellent team of experienced, dedicated carers are devoted to the well-being of everyone living at the home, with a focus on independence and freedom of choice. Tasty, nutritious food is made onsite every day from fresh ingredients and special diets can be catered for.

All bedrooms are en-suite, tastefully decorated and fully furnished. It is also
able to offer 'companion rooms' which are suitable for couples. The home itself sits within delightful, lawned gardens with a private courtyard accessed through one of the sitting rooms.

Minibus trips run regularly to places such as the seaside, the theatre, or even just an ice cream in the countryside. Their in-house activities co-ordinator creates, with input from the residents, a whole range of stimulating and enjoyable ways to spend the day for those who wish to participate.

My mum was placed at Ascot House for respite care on discharge from hospital.
She loved being there, she was only at Ascot House for 10 days and was admitted back to hospital, the staff were first class and nothing was too much trouble.

Family member admitted to long-term care in November 2017. We were recommended by a friend to the high-quality of care at Ascot House, we have been highly delighted with the high standards meeting the individual care plan. The activities and outings which take place regularly have given my mother a
quality fo life which she previously hadn't had. The staff always endure she looks very well presented as she still chooses to maintain this appearance of dignity which is important to her.
The staff are all very dedicated to their caring roles, meals are excellent and home produced cooking of high quality. An excellent manager who runs a first-rate home.

Mum moved into Ascot House at the beginning of 2018 and I have been extremely happy with the standard of care and support that she received. She recently celebrated her 90th birthday and the manager and all the staff made it a day to remember for all that attended.

Since my mum has been in Ascot House, I have seen such a lovely change in her.
She is happy and content and has peace of mind in the lovely bright rooms in Ascot House.
The staff are all lovely, caring people and seem to really love their job.

I have found Ascot House to be friendly and have a real homely feeling. The staff have always made me feel very welcome, offering refreshments at any time. My husband has been very well cared for. They are very caring with him. I feel he is in very safe hands.

My mum has been in Ascot House for nearly 2 years. If it was not for the love and care they give mum she wouldn't have been here now. They insisted that a doctor would come and see mum. Mum had an infection and was really poorly. They really look after them.

My mother's health deteriorated after a fall and fracturing her hip. She spent the last 2 months of her life at Ascot House. The staff were extremely professional and dedicated. The loving care they gave to my mother was very much appreciated.

My mother went into the care home because she wasn't safe to be alone with all the falls she was having. All the staff and manager at the care home has been very helpful, they have done everything they can to help my mum. Now she is able to live on her own again. I and my family are very happy with
the care home. They have all been fantastic. We are very very grateful we couldn't have asked for any more from the care home they have done their very best.

My mum came to Ascot House for respite and has nearly been here 2 years. My mum has been really happy since she's been here and we couldn't be more happy with the care and support she receives. The manager went over and above to support my mum into independent living.
