Carisbrooke Manor is set in countryside on the outskirts of Scunthorpe, and provides long term, respite and day care for older people and those with dementia needs. Set within large gardens, this beautiful home is largely purpose built, yet retains a homely feel from the original 1920s building, and is set around a lovely courtyard with raised flower beds where many residents enjoy relaxing or helping look after the plants.

Their outstanding team of dedicated carers take pride in treating everyone with dignity and as an individual. Delicious, healthy, home cooked food is freshly prepared throughout each day and special diets can be catered for. A full program of entertainment and activity is thoughtfully put together by their specialist coordinator with input from the residents themselves. Regular trips out are arranged and might include a visit to Bransby Horses or a spot of lunch somewhere.

Carisbrooke Manor offers en suite bedrooms across two floors, all rooms are fully furnished to a high standard and tastefully styled. There is a choice of sitting rooms and dining rooms overlooking the courtyard or the gardens.

My husband was taken to Carisbrooke for rehab after a period in hospital. The staff and care given was excellent. The food was wonderful and the staff worked with him, helping him to increase his own mobility. He eventually went on to another care home, but the care he received at Carisbrooke was top
notch. Thank you all.

My mother has been a resident at Carisbrooke Manor for the last four years, and she requires a high level of care, for which the wonderful staff at Carisbrooke Manor have been able to provide to a high standard. Despite the challenges of my mother's complex needs, they have done their absolute best
to meet them. Carisbrooke Manor is a wonderful care home that creates a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for its residents. I am truly blessed with the dedication and hard work that the staff put into caring for my mother. I am truly thankful for everything that they do.

The staff have been amazing and the management too. If I have had any worries they have always had the time to listen and accommodate our needs. The staff have been there when I got upset when Mum had been not well and comforted me. I cannot praise the staff enough.

Following our mother being hospitalised, my sister and I visited Carisbrooke Manor Care Home as we were looking for a very good home for respite care. The care home was very welcoming and one member of staff kindly gave us lots of useful information as she showed us around the care home. We were able
to observe that the food is of a high standard and the home is very clean and comfortable. This is a home which has a family feel and the staff have a very good rapport with the residents. Our thanks go to all the staff, in the short time that our mum was in Carisbrooke Manor we saw that the staff are caring and compassionate and are prepared to go above and beyond to ensure the residents’ comfort.

On the whole, I personally think my mother-in-law is looked after very well in the home. The only thing is that it could do with some entertainment, like music, as she likes that, or The Salvation Army coming in now and then to sing to them if it was possible. It is very friendly here and sociable.

All staff are very caring and helpful. Mum says she is well looked after. Mum likes crafting activities but hasn't done any since going into care. Mum used to enjoy getting in the garden, likes to sit and look at the flowers.

The staff are all very nice, and nothing is too much trouble. The food is tasty and appealing. The rooms are spacious, and everywhere is clean and welcoming. The care the staff have shown my mother-in-law is greatly appreciated, and we are very happy that they are looking after her so well.

I have found this care home excellent. The staff are all lovely and helpful, my dad is very settled here, enjoys the food and chats with the carers. The home is always clean when we visit and I would recommend it to any friends or family in the same situation.

I find this care home to be very good, it is clean, has excellent staff and nothing is too much trouble for them. They usually have a bit of banter with my father-in-law, which makes him laugh and seem a lot happier now than he was in his own home. The food is very good and he enjoys it. I cannot recommend
this care home highly enough.

All staff and management have been very supportive with my service user I have been working with. The service user could no longer live in her home due to it being inhabitable. They needed to move to a place of safety and staff and the manager welcomed my service user and made her feel comfortable.
I would definitely recommend Carisbrooke Manor Care Home to friends, family and colleagues.
