Carisbrooke Manor is set in countryside on the outskirts of Scunthorpe, and provides long term, respite and day care for older people and those with dementia needs. Set within large gardens, this beautiful home is largely purpose built, yet retains a homely feel from the original 1920s building, and is set around a lovely courtyard with raised flower beds where many residents enjoy relaxing or helping look after the plants.

Their outstanding team of dedicated carers take pride in treating everyone with dignity and as an individual. Delicious, healthy, home cooked food is freshly prepared throughout each day and special diets can be catered for. A full program of entertainment and activity is thoughtfully put together by their specialist coordinator with input from the residents themselves. Regular trips out are arranged and might include a visit to Bransby Horses or a spot of lunch somewhere.

Carisbrooke Manor offers en suite bedrooms across two floors, all rooms are fully furnished to a high standard and tastefully styled. There is a choice of sitting rooms and dining rooms overlooking the courtyard or the gardens.

This is the second year my mother has been a resident of Carisbrooke Manor and the service has proved excellent. The staff are its main asset as they are attentive, professional and approachable. Such was the poor physical condition of my mother that her end seemed near, but due to the staff at Carisbrooke
Manor, her condition has improved better than would have envisaged. My experience of care homes is limited, but I do not know of any way that the home could be improved upon.

I visit my mother at Carisbrooke Manor several times a week. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. My mother is very well cared for and I have no complaints about anything.

My Father-in-Law goes two days a week for respite and in November he stayed for a four night period. It was his third time staying in and each time the care provided was excellent. He likes to go and the staff are all excellent with him. When you go to Carisbrooke it is like you are going to a family
home because of how it is. There is a lovely atmosphere here. All the residents I have spoken to seem really happy there.
