Carisbrooke Manor

No problems with the home. If ever Mum is ill or needs an ambulance, we are informed. Food is good and whenever Mum wants a cup of tea, she gets one. Her clothes get washed and put away in her wardrobe. The staff are always helpful and if we have a query, someone sorts it.

Excellent service and care and I'm made to feel very welcome on each visit. Nothing is too much trouble.

My mother (who has just died) was in Carisbrooke Manor for five years and was well cared for. The care home was recommended to us by others who had relatives there. The residents are well cared for and treated with respect. There are no nasty smells when you enter and it is kept very clean. The staff keep you well informed of any mishaps e.g falls and are very approachable at all times. I would certainly recommend this care home to anyone who cared about their relative.

This is a very friendly and welcoming home. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond to make sure my Grandma is looked after. The home is clean and tidy and has no odour. The manager has an open door policy and there is always someone available to talk to. There is regular entertainment in and out of the home so my Grandma doesn't miss out on social interaction. There was never a doubt about which home I wanted my Grandma in. I wouldn't choose another.

This is the second year my mother has been a resident of Carisbrooke Manor and the service has proved excellent. The staff are its main asset as they are attentive, professional and approachable. Such was the poor physical condition of my mother that her end seemed near, but due to the staff at Carisbrooke Manor, her condition has improved better than would have envisaged. My experience of care homes is limited, but I do not know of any way that the home could be improved upon.

I visit my mother at Carisbrooke Manor several times a week. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. My mother is very well cared for and I have no complaints about anything.

My Father-in-Law goes two days a week for respite and in November he stayed for a four night period. It was his third time staying in and each time the care provided was excellent. He likes to go and the staff are all excellent with him. When you go to Carisbrooke it is like you are going to a family home because of how it is. There is a lovely atmosphere here. All the residents I have spoken to seem really happy there.
