The staff were amazing and brilliant through this transition.
We are two weeks post admission and she has completely settled, this is down to the staff who clearly know how to work with residents and issues created through this awful disease.
My friend is going from strength to strength and as a result, I can highly recommend this dementia unit with no qualms at all.

Since my dad came here I am able to visit and leave him, the knowledge of knowing he is happy and extremely well looked after. The staff go above and beyond for everyone. My dad is very content living there and through this, I do not have the constant worry which I did from him being in a previous setting. The care home is immaculate every time I visit, all the staff are a great team and make the care home the best!

When you can no longer look after your loved one and a family needs help to do that, you think nowhere will be good enough! How wrong we were. All the staff at Boroughbridge Manor Care Home go above and beyond to care for and support that reason. They give so much more than we could do ourselves or even with a package of care in their own home. Certainly, the best choice we made. But most importantly mum is happy and safe! Thank you
Thank you for your lovely review. We value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. It's great to see Mum settling in to Boroughbridge Manor well. I will be sure to pass on your kind feedback to the team.
This care home is run in a caring and inclusive manner. The manager's door is always open and welcoming. I would assure anyone that this home isn't only run to a high standard, where the residents are always put first, but communication with relatives is excellent. My mum arrived here unable to walk more than a few sites. Through the encouragement and patience of the staff, she was walking the length of corridors within weeks. Prior to coming to Boroughbridge Manor, she wasn't eating well and had lost weight. Now she is enjoying her food and putting on weight. I cannot praise Boroughbridge Manor highly enough in the short review.

I was most impressed by the attitude of the carers and administration staff towards the patients in their care. Problems were dealt with in a gentle but effective manner and they were quick to come to assist when needed. I was pleased to hear that recreational activities such as armchair exercises were included in the itinerary. The food looked excellent and the clientele was obviously enjoying it. Congrats to the chef!

It's wonderful to say that every effort has been made to make my aunt more comfortable.
Clearly, the COVID restrictions made life more challenging, but again the staff were outstanding. Thank you.

I have only been in the home 1/2, during that time, all have been helpful and respectful. The staff are cheerful and are helping me to adjust from caring for myself at home with minimal care to having to cope with being unable to walk. Thank you.

Every time I have been to visit my mother-in-law, I have been greeted by professional, friendly staff. Manor Care Home is very modern, clean and bright; the pictures on the wall are very interesting. The staff looking after the residents obviously enjoy their job and encourage motivation. Even the maintenance staff enjoy being part of the team.

Easy to book a visit and all covid procedures are followed correctly. Warm clean environment and staff are always to hand nothings to much trouble. My father is well looked after and responds well with the staff I’m always made welcome and coffee and cake are always offered. Dad is always clean and tidy and seems happy in his self thank you to you all.

Excellent as usual. The care I can see my brother receives is exceptional. The staff are not only great with my brother but also to us as a family as well. The facility we use (the bubble room) is great as we can have any private conversation if needs be. 10 out of 10 again.

The best thing about The Manor is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful, and although my friend is not always kind and appreciative, she is dealt with in the best way possible. The Manor is clean, modern and welcoming. What would make you believe me is the fact that I say to my kids I would like to end up here!

I really do find that the staff are very caring and considerate. My friend seems to be very well looked after. However, I do believe that persuading her to have a 'bubbly' bath may help her relax, as at times she seems quite agitated.

The initial phone call, as with everything, was very welcoming. My mother had been a resident there roughly 2013-2015. Extremely lucky I have used it for every area because everything was faultless, and I was reassured every night about my husband, who was a respite client. He has offered to go back so I can rest. A brilliant stay.
