Our lovely mum has been a resident since December 2024. She made the decision herself to want to move to Craghall and ever since arriving, she has been so happy. In her own words she just loves it. For us, it's like mum has an extended family! The care and attention she gets is amazing! Our mum is listened to and she is heard! Even though there are so many other lovely residents, our mum is cared for as an individual which is of great comfort and joy to my brother and I. We have been made to feel part of the Craghall family too. Craghall is stunning! The grounds are beautiful, everything about it is like home from home! The entertainment, the activities, the outdoor adventures organised by Nicola and the constant stimulation is invaluable. We cant thank Chelsea, Mary and the rest of the staff enough for what they're doing for our mum. The peace of mind we have in knowing she is looked after and cared for, that she has company and that she loves living at Craghall is the best feeling.

Chelsea, Mary and all the team at Craghall have gone above and beyond to make my mum feel at home. It was the hardest decision to put her in a care home but we knew Craghall was the place for her as my grandma spent 3 very happy years there. The team there could not have been more loving and caring with my mum and supportive of us as a family. I will be forever grateful for their kindness and dedication. There is lots of entertainment and activities which my mum loves provided by the very wonderful Nicola the entertainments manager. Mums bedroom is always clean and tidy and the communal spaces are beautiful. They really think of everything at Craghall and have a wonderful caring team who work tirelessly to ensure their residents are happy and comfortable. They definitely go above and beyond.

Mam has been a resident for 4 months we as her sons were anxious about the transition from home to care home. She has settled in so well is happy and well cared for. The staff are fantastic and keep her stimulated. The activities and variety of activities are impressive. We all know that singing is good for the brain. Mam has regularly been serenaded by invited singers she has been singing and dancing, involved in crafting , decorating as well as trips out. She has developed friendships with fellow residents and the care staff. Mam is thriving and we could not be happier she has really come out of herself which is lovely to witness.

Craghall has been my mother's new home since September. The family and my mother were very nervous about such a fundamental change to her life but advancing Alzheimer's meant the decision was inevitable. Three months down the line and we could not be more happy with the standard of the environment, care and facilities Craghall provides. Staff are expert and committed to providing bespoke care for my mother. They have quickly got to know her and what makes her tick. Nothing seems too much trouble and the attention to providing activities and letting family members know my mother is doing well with regular videos and pictures is second to none. We are 100% sure now that we made the right decision and that Craghall is the right place for her to be safe looked after and cared for.

I have been very pleased wtih the care my mother receives at Craghall. Although she has some significant health issues recently, including 2 long spells in hospital, I can see improvements in her confidence and mobility within a few days of her beingin Craghall. I selected Craghall as the care home for my mother after visiting 4 homes in a single day in December 2024. On that day I had a strong sense that this would be the best environment for my mother, and I am pleased to report that this has turned out to be correct. I cannot fault the kindness of the staff both to my mother and me when I visit. Mum has been a resident since September and not for one second have I had any doubts about her placement! Where do I begin! Any establishment/institution is only as good as it's staff and my goodness they are excellent, caring, thoughtful, hard working and very proactive. My mum has never looked as well dressed, clean and physically healthy! Carers style her hair, and choose her clothes with care and thought. Activities are varied and include crafts, keep fit and singing. The lead up to Christmas included visits from local schools, beavers and nursery plus adult singers. Every residents door was decorated with a unique homemade decoration (beautiful!). Families are also supported as staff offer support and advice. I could go on!
