Since my sister came to Philip Cussins House, I can't fault the staff, so friendly and caring. The home is spotless and is like living in your own home. The activities are amazing. I couldn't wish for anything better. Very impressed.

A wonderful place that is a friendly and warm community. The staff are kind and considerate; they are genuinely doing their best for the residents. I feel that my Mum is in a safe and homely place where she can age well, and make friends. She has lots going on - trips out, entertainment and things to look forward too. Her old personality is back now that she is mentally engaged and enjoying spending time with both the staff and residents. She is lucky to be here and I'm grateful to Philip Cussins House for everything they do for her.

It is an honour for me to complete this review for Philip Cussins House.
I can honestly say I have found the care & attention given to the residents has been truly amazing. Work never stops in a joyful spirit No matter how difficult a resident can be.
I am a regular visitor and see at first hand the good work that gets managed every single day, There's always visits out each week, Bingo & Raffles also visits to musicals for anyone whos wanting to go

Its a happy place and a honour to be asked for this review

Mam being at Philip Cussins House has really taken a huge weight off me. I'm undergoing cancer treatment, and mam will be staying here until it's finished. It's amazing to see how much love the staff have for the residents here, and it means I have nothing to worry about.

Mum has been a resident at Philip Cussins House since October 2024. Mum critically found the change from living on her own to being in care very difficult to adjust to. However the level of support and care she has received has been excellent. In particular the level of care and attention from the staff has helped. Mum adjust and she is very happy at PCH.

Every time I visit the staff welcome you with a smile. The residents don't just sit around or fall asleep in chairs. The staff are engaging with residents constantly and they are always laughing. This may be inappropriate but it's the only care home that I've visited that doesn't smell of urine. A great atmosphere and caring environment.

I am delighted to share my positive experience of my dads care home. Initially hesitant to leave his home of over 50 years, he quickly settled in and now feels comfortable and at home. The imaginative activities have brought him joy and companionship enriching his life significantly. As a family we feel grateful that he has found a new place to belong, where he is well cared for and happy. the care homes warm atmosphere and dedication to resident well being are truly commendable. At all times I can see he has his dignity and independence, which is truly remarkable

I came here after a stay in hospital with acute pancreatitis. I looked and felt awful. The care I have received has been wonderful. The staff are all amazing, really kind and thoughtful. The food is wonderful I have gained weight and look and feel so much better. The room is clean and bright and there is plenty of cupboard and drawer space. My visitors all say how well I look now. The staff arranged to have a visit from the GP too, The ladies at my table were lovely, cheerful, intelligent and friendly. Entertainment and activities are well arranged The home is excellent in every way. I am almost sorry to be going home!
