Earsdon Grange Care Home

My aunt has settled in really well at Earsdon Grange. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. Right from the start they made an effort to get to know her and encouraged her to join in with the activities. The rooms are spacious and clean. We are free to visit when suits and are made to feel welcome.

I really enjoyed my respite stay. I was treated with the best care and respect, everything to make my visit enjoyable and my wife able to enjoy her break. I can be very inappropriate, something other homes can't handle. On one respite break a member of staff said I was a "nasty horrible man"! It broke my wife's heart but Earsdon Grange was able to manage me without disrespecting me. It was like home from home (better food). Can't thank them enough.

My mother has been in the home for more than 1 year now. I live abroad and the staff keep me well informed of Mam's status by email. I love their social media page showing all they are up to. The staff all make me welcome when I visit which I try to do every three months.

Staff are very caring, my husband is a very picky eater and they go out of their way to give him what he likes.

Since my gran arrived at Earsdon in September, staff have gone above and beyond to ensure her safety and wellbeing. My gran has been included in activities and encouraged. Senior staff have ensured she has had the correct medical attention to investigate any concerns immediately.

Extremely grateful to all the staff at Earsdon Grange for the care and concern shown towards my dad. We all feel strongly that he is safe and genuinely cared for. We would like to express our thanks to all the staff who make Dad feel as content and secure as he does.

Fantastic care of my relative. Patient and kind. Kept up to date by carers. Would recommend. The staff were amazing, 100%.

Staff are very caring and treat everyone with respect and dignity. There is a good rapport with the clients and there is lots of laughter in the place. It was very hard for us both at first but we were supported through it well. My husband is happy and that is the main and most important thing.

Nothing is too much problem for the staff from carers to cleaners. Food is very good, very good choice of meals. I am well pleased with the care my husband is getting.

I feel my mam is well looked after. The staff are very approachable. They are quick to let me know of any issues with my mams health, which is very reassuring.

I am very satisfied with the overall care of my sister-in-law. Also, informing me of her condition and activities, which is most important due to my circumstances.

Earsdon Grange Care Home is a well organised and caring some. My mother is being well cared for and I am so happy we chose Earsdon Grange.

I am unable to visit my Aunt very frequently as I live a distance away and am also a personal carer for my sister. From what I have seen of the home my Aunt's room is always tidy and clean. The staff that I have come into contact with are very pleasant and helpful. My aunt always seems happy and tells me that the staff are lovely and that the food is very good. Her appearance has improved greatly since entering the home.

I cannot thank the staff and management enough for their support and care of my dad and me. During a very difficult time and our first experience of a residential care home. Thank you again.

I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness and support in looking after my brother for two weeks respite care so I could attend my son's wedding and other family matters. You have an excellent care manager who has a great team, well trained and efficient. Thank you again for the hard work you do, it's much appreciated - long may it continue.

This care home is excellent. My mum has settled really well as it is a caring environment and all staff are professional and friendly. My mum is well cared for. I would prefer a few more activities or maybe there are plenty but my mum doesn't join in? The costs are satisfactory but as my mum is self-funded I consider all care homes to be expensive especially as the council rate is much less. This care home is the best I have seen and their values and ethos are exceptional. I would recommend Earsdon Grange to future residents.

I'm fine. Not grumbling. Everybody looks after me well. Lovely. Getting spoilt.

My mum was placed in Earsdon Grange Care Home for six weeks of respite. The staff, cleaners, cooks, and receptionists are exceptional. My mum entered saying she was frightened of life, upon leaving she asked if they would keep her room as she was definitely going back as a full-time resident! She is no longer frightened!
