My relative is well looked after and all her needs are met on time. Staff are very helpful and friendly and will do anything that is asked of them. She enjoys her meals and is happy with the variety of foods she is given.

Care home manager and team; I would like to say as a clinician myself I am fully aware of the litigation involved with safeguarding vulnerable adults. From my first meeting with the manager, under stressful family pressures, she put my and my family's minds at ease. Traditionally and statistically British
Indian/Asians do not admit family members to care homes due to fears of poor care. The manager and her team addressed our fears, comforted and reassured us like no one else in the industry has been able to. A gold standard care home. The team are angels and I can't thank them enough.

My mother-in-law was a resident at Ashbourne Lodge for three and a half years. Sadly she passed away at the end of November 20. In her time at the home, she always received excellent care. Also, the members of staff provided a genuine interest in her well-being throughout her stay and made sure she
was well looked after, with this in mind I would recommend Ashbourne Lodge to anybody who was looking for a care home for friends or family.

I am very pleased with the care I receive at Ashbourne Lodge. The staff and management work very hard to look after us and to keep us happy. Coronavirus lockdown has been a trial, we have had every attention and followed all the rules, hopefully it will soon end and we will all be back to normal. Best

Punam has gained over ten years’ experience in providing care and support to older people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Punam joined Ashbourne Lodge as Home Manager because she closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Ashbourne Lodge.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Punam remarked: “I get enormous satisfaction from seeing our Residents well looked after.”


Away from work, Punam enjoys listening to music and socialising with her family and friends.
