My father has just had a frightening stay in a soulless local hospital.


Thankfully, although still poorly, he is now back 'home' and his care, dignity and 'HIS' needs are being attended to in the most professional way possible.


The attention he has received is unquestionable, from the manager,

senior care staff, care staff, catering and domestic staff, basically his every need is adhered to.


I am not a doctor nor healthcare worker, however having observed at first hand the hospital protocol in comparison to Sheraton Court, both myself and my family feel that the majority of nursing staff we encountered could definitely learn more than a thing or two about care, dignity and general people skills if they were to take a year or so out at the sharp end of elderly care.

Residents seem happy and well cared for the staff are friendly and helpful. The care home is clean and bright with improvement to the environment is evident since the home has changed hands there is or appears to be a scheme in place to carry out improvements in residents rooms.

The residents are well cared for and their medication is issued as far as possible at the right time and issued in a time period as if taken at home. For me, it does get a bit noisy at times but considering the needs of some residents, I suppose that this cannot be avoided.

As a dedicated Health Care Professional, Hollie has gained many years’ experience in providing care and support for older people to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest possible standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Hollie shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her experience to motivate her team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Hollie remarked:


“My favourite thing about being a Home Manager is supporting our Residents to lead meaningful and fulfilled lives.”


Outside of work, Hollie enjoys spending time with her partner and children.
