My mam is a resident of this home , she has been here two and half years. This is an excellent home , one of the best in the area, staff very friendly , really helpful with any queries I have. Home is clean and tidy, there are lots of activities for residents to take part in if they want. Constantly updating and maintaining home to a high standard.

My father-in-law was initially in respite for 6 weeks from 6th June 2024. He then became a permanent resident. He is so content in Dalby and has really improved his mental health - also his physical health too - although he needs a walker to be mobile. He really likes all the staff. They are so friendly nd professional and if he wants something he only needs to ask/suggest once and it's done. From the top employees through the ranks the staff are all amazing. He really enjoys the food too - thankfully he has now gained all the weight he lost through illness in 2024 - in fact we've had to buy him bigger trousers!!!

Having decided that Mam needed 24 hour care we researched homes in the local area and Dalby Court was the only one that had availability at the time. However, on viewing the home, we came to realise that Mam would be well cared for in a safe environment. Despite suffering three falls in the first week, the staff always acted promptly and contacted me as soon as possible. Although Mam was reluctant to eat, the staff always encouraged her to do so. She was only there a short time, but our family felt supported by the staff and management and were always kept well informed.

When we realised mom needed 24 hour care, Dalby Court was the only care home with a space for her. When I went to view the home and the room I felt secure in the knowledge that she would be well looked after and safe. Although she was never happy while staying there this was due to her deteriorating condition and no fault of the staff. We wished she had been well enough to appreciate the staff. Mum was only there for a short time and we were very upset at the time however we felt very supported by the staff who helped us deal with some difficult situations.

My nana was upstairs for 3 weeks for respite/rehab following a 4 week stay in hospital. She'd had such poor care in hospital coming out with multiple problems to her skin and diabetes.
I was met with care and warmth every day of her stay - the leadership team liaised with the doctors and got her the help she needed and she was looking and feeling better within 2 days!
She developed cellulitis whilst here and this was dealt with promptly. The facilities are great, I loved seeing her with her hair done by the hairdresser! Nana enjoyed the food.
Nana was getting miserable towards the end of her stay as she was missing home but staff always made time for her and she was respected and well looked after.

I can't thank the staff enough for their help getting my nana back to herself. I'd have no problem recommending this home to anyone needing this care. Keep up the great work!

As an elderly (86 year old) man charged with having sole care of an older (97 years at death in November 2024) man suffering from dementia I needed all the help I could get. This I got from Dalby Court Residential Care Home. He asked to go into this care home and I found it to be ideal. He was at all times well looked after and when my own health was poor I had no worries regarding his care. The staff went beyond their normal duties to help and I am grateful for this.

I live alone and required cancer treatment so I booked a respite bed for the period of treatment. It was so good the management and all the staff were so supportive and kind that my stay was like being on holiday. My daily visits to the hospital were helped by staff organising my meals and on return making sure I was comfortable and attending to all my requests. My bedroom was kept very clean also the

en-suite. Well done Dalby Court. Thank you.

My mother is a resident in Dalby Court it has been a difficult time with decisions that have to be made for her safety. I have had so much support from the carers and the clerical staff. Important events have taken place in the family ie a family wedding. They advised me what to do. The staff ensured that my mam was up and ready and presentable for her to enjoy her day. She totally enjoyed her time with family and once tired we returned her and the staff supported her on return. These times are important to us as a family and are happy she can join in. She can't remember the day but enjoyed it at the time and we have the photos to last forever. Thank you team at Dalby Court.
