Winters Park is a good care home. Nice carers, good food and décor, nice grounds and near town. Pleasant fellow residents.
The outings are well arranged but the games are routine, new ones needed I think.

Mum is unsettled at present because of the lack of a permanent management and insufficient staff at times.

First, my father and subsequently my mother have been residents at Winter's Park Care Home. I have been very impressed both with the professional and caring support that they have received and also with the communications between the staff and myself (I do not live in the UK).

Whenever I visit my friend I am always made to feel welcome. When I am there on weekdays it is interesting to watch the activities taking place (and sometimes joining in) and to see the way that the residents respond to the activities co-ordinator, everybody is made to feel a part even those who do
not find it easy and they receive all the help they need which helps to draw them out. The staff work hard and always find time for the residents.
