Staff are friendly and welcoming to both residents and visitors.

Very helpful and pleasant staff, can't do enough for mam support and communication to us is excellent. She has been supported very well by all the staff as her physical needs have increased and her mental capacity has deteriorated.

Always a friendly atmosphere and staff are attentive all relevant staff recognised me and remembered my name from 8yrs ago as my mother was a resident for 5yrs,so i knew my friend jim was in safe hands.

Lovely warming and welcoming and caring, no issues whatsoever, visit at your leisure they never turn you away, excellent manager, her staff goes above and beyond to help all residents whatever their needs and treats them all like they are their own family. My mother-in-law loves them all.

My Aunt has been a resident for several years and in that time I have had no complaints or concerns about the level of care she receives. The staff are attentive friendly and caring in their approach and I am confident that she is receiving the care she needs and deserves.

Clean friendly well run care home friendly staff food always comes freshly prepared always treated with respect and excellent care to residents always somethings to do for thre residents with activities everyday would recommend this care home

My Dad's been in Acorn Grange for over six months now and he absolutely loves it there, all the staff are helpful, caring & supportive people. He loves the food, the staff and his accomodation, so we as a family are very happy & content in the knowledge that our Dad in his latter year's is in a safe & happy place. Can't recommend Acorn Grange enough!

Found the care team to be very caring and efficient.

My father has been in Acorn Grange for about 6 months, and he is extremely happy. The staff are excellent, they are very caring and hard working. My father is always clean and tidy, and he loves the food. They have helped to sort out his hearing problems and teeth. I honestly believe there is not a better care home in the area. I cannot fault it in any way. Thank you!

The management keep me informed (by telephone or in person) of anything significant concerning my mother's health, wellbeing or general care.

My mam has been a resident of Acorn grange for the last 6 months and has settled into the home well , all of the staff are so lovely and genuinely caring especially the two Kirstys ! Everytime we visit we're always welcomed with pleasant smiling staff and always kept updated on mams care , the home is always spotlessly clean and the meals look great ! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Acorn grange to anyone looking for quality care for a family member and we can't thank them enough for everything they do !

My mother spent the last 10 months of her life in the care of these wonderful people. She was treated with dignity, care and love by all the staff she was involved with. The manager (Donna) and Senior Carer (Kirsty) kept my sister and I up to date regularly during her final days. I can't recommend the staff any higher. Thank you.

My dad has been a resident at Acorn Grange since October 2024, he has settled well, sometimes dad can be very challenging but all staff deal with any situation which might occur in a professional and respectful manner. Staff are friendly and very approachable, staff always keep me up to date with my dad's health and any concerns, my dad is very well cared for, Acorn Grange is a very welcoming and homely environment, and safe and very clean.

A lovely care home where my mother was loved and cared for in her last years. Always treated with respect and kindness by all of the staff.

Recently I have noticed a shortage of care staff when a member rings in sick it puts more pressure on other staff and makes it harder for them to keep an eye on the residents.

Any issues we have had as a family have been resolved promptly, communication is good & I'm grateful to all of the special staff, (there are too many to name) they have allowed and encouraged Grandad to be his "old self" he has such a great sense of humour and after the stroke it was lost for a while, but I'm pleased to say it has returned and it's great to see him laughing and causing chaos, something I didn't think we'd see again!

The managers are always very friendly. Always very hands-on and very helpful. Always makes time for the residents and is not afraid to help other members of staff.

She is safe and secure in a caring, homely environment, and we cannot thank every staff member enough.

The staff at Acorn Grange have always appeared very caring to my mother, who at this time has many support needs. Her room is always clean and presented in a way that is comfortable for her (restricting sunlight which she finds painful). Due to her medical issues, she takes her meals in her room, and this is never an issue. As a visitor, the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

From start to finish, Acorn Grange was very professional, caring and understanding. Cannot thank them enough for giving us the break which we needed.
