Exceptional staff and care, my dad was in respite care for a short time unfortunately he died whilst in the care of Darlington manor, though the compassion of the staff was amazing, would highly recommend this care facility, thank you for the care you gave my dad and all the family

Always a friendly atmosphere and staff are attentive all relevant staff recognised me and remembered my name from 8yrs ago as my mother was a resident for 5yrs,so i knew my friend jim was in safe hands.

Lovely warming and welcoming and caring, no issues whatsoever, visit at your leisure they never turn you away, excellent manager, her staff goes above and beyond to help all residents whatever their needs and treats them all like they are their own family. My mother-in-law loves them all.

My Aunt has been a resident for several years and in that time I have had no complaints or concerns about the level of care she receives. The staff are attentive friendly and caring in their approach and I am confident that she is receiving the care she needs and deserves.

Clean friendly well run care home friendly staff food always comes freshly prepared always treated with respect and excellent care to residents always somethings to do for thre residents with activities everyday would recommend this care home

Absolute phenomenal care of my darling Granny, Grace/Jean. Sam and the whole team are outstanding. Their residents become their family and the care and compassion they all show for the resident and the families is second to none. They truly were there at the worst time but made it such a pleasant experience, we can't thank them enough

The cleaners do a good job and cleanliness is to a very high standard. The kitchen provide very good meals.

I am so glad my mother was given a place here. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to do whatever is needed for her. I was so worried about her moving in to a home but now when I take her out she looks forward to going back to her room here. They do interesting and relevant activities that she loves doing and she enjoys her meals immensely. The facilities are lovely with a wonderful ambience and a fantastic entryway with painted ivy leaves on an atrium that really welcomes you. My mam is thriving and I'm delighted to see her so happy and making new friends that she socialises with. I've experienced other care homes and this one rates so much higher in warmth, activities and genuine care. My dad spends a lot of time there too with her and his health is improving from when he was her carer and it took so much out of him. They even let him have meals with her and all the staff do everything they can to make everything better for them both. Highly recommended.

My Dad's been in Acorn Grange for over six months now and he absolutely loves it there, all the staff are helpful, caring & supportive people. He loves the food, the staff and his accomodation, so we as a family are very happy & content in the knowledge that our Dad in his latter year's is in a safe & happy place. Can't recommend Acorn Grange enough!

Brilliant home, staff always willing to help if we ask for anything. Keep you updated with on appointments etc. Keep the residence entertained always something for them to do. Home is clean and tidy.

Found the care team to be very caring and efficient.

My father has been in Acorn Grange for about 6 months, and he is extremely happy. The staff are excellent, they are very caring and hard working. My father is always clean and tidy, and he loves the food. They have helped to sort out his hearing problems and teeth. I honestly believe there is not a better care home in the area. I cannot fault it in any way. Thank you!

The management keep me informed (by telephone or in person) of anything significant concerning my mother's health, wellbeing or general care.

My mam has been a resident of Acorn grange for the last 6 months and has settled into the home well , all of the staff are so lovely and genuinely caring especially the two Kirstys ! Everytime we visit we're always welcomed with pleasant smiling staff and always kept updated on mams care , the home is always spotlessly clean and the meals look great ! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Acorn grange to anyone looking for quality care for a family member and we can't thank them enough for everything they do !

There is no doubt that the leadership of the manager is key to this. They were endlessly patient with L, treating her warmly and respectfully, maximising her enjoyment and led by her wishes whenever possible. They laughed and danced with her, managed her husband with kindness and cried with us when she died. We are eternally grateful.

My mother and father resided at Garden Lodge for over the Christmas the staff were amazing. Very attentive to both my parents it give us as a family peace of mind knowing they were looked after so well.

As you walk through the doors there is always a friendly face. The staff are amazing, Ellie, Laura, Tracy, Sam, Alicia, Leanne have a special place in my heart and all are brilliant as they always know if Ken or Rita are doing ok. Ken recently had his best friend admitted to the Manor, in the room opposite however Bill has recently passed away. The staff have been in very regular to make sure Ken is managing his emotions. Good great, cleanliness fantastic.

Each time I have attended I have found there to be an air of quiet efficiency.The staff seem alert to any change in the condition of the residents and promptly attend to them with skill and genuine concern. I have no knowledge of other care home but if they are as good as Wyndham Manor then we have a lot of safe and content patients around the country.
