Management and carers at The Grange do a wonderful job. Very caring, patient, kind and compassionate to residents and courteous to ourselves as family.

The current pandemic has illustrated the above even more clearly. They deserve the highest praise at present. My only concern at this time is it's very difficult to contact The Grange. The phone has not been answered but this is understandable during this very busy time. This is not a complaint, merely an observation. I know if anything untoward occurred with my mother, I would be immediately informed.

My brother was cared for at The Grange for just over a year, he unfortunately passed away just before Christmas. Throughout the whole time he was at the home he was cared for with dignity by lovely, friendly staff who made The Grange his home. He loved being in the Garden Room. The meals and cakes/snacks always looked inviting and homemade. He was a character and took a bit of getting used to but all the staff looked after him brilliantly to the very end for which we will never be able to thank them enough.

Staff are very good but there is not enough of them. A few of the regular staff that have been there a long time have left for other jobs in care homes.

Very friendly staff and well liked by the resident. Always someone on hand to update you on how the resident has been.
Room and facilities are well maintained and bright. Any queries/issues, the manager is always available to discuss and resolve promptly and is on the ball regarding treatment.

Cannot praise staff enough for their care. The resident is really happy and settled.

Many thanks to the manager and all of your very kind team for looking after my father-in-law. You know he recently passed away and we couldn’t have wanted him to be anywhere else than with you and your team of caring people. We never had to worry about him because we knew he was in a very good care home, unlike some, it is clean and organised and staffed by fabulous people. You all made his last years very comfortable, and again we can’t thank you all enough. We will be calling back in a few weeks with a little thank you present for you all. Best regards.

My mam has been a permanent resident since March 2018, mam and I cannot praise every member of staff enough. Each time I visit mam, 3 or 4 times a week, she tells me how happy she is. Nothing is too much trouble, I can see for myself what a happy place it is. Mam needs helps with toilet and washing etc. They always help with a smile on their face. When I leave it makes me feel good to know mam is happy and in safe hands. Good.

When visiting my sister I find she is very content with no complaints. The staff are very helpful who will listen to any remarks I have to say. As a member of Age Concern Ukelele Band, we enjoy entertaining when asked to play.

My mother in law has recently been admitted to the Grange from another care home and her first day found her very apprehensive.

The caring and attentive staff soon put her at ease and now she is very settled and at ease in her new surroundings.

My experience up to date has been good. I am a regular visitor and have found that I am kept well informed. If I do ask about anything I am treated well and with respect. I find my husband is always clean and tidy whenever I visit. Overall, as things go, I am happy he is in The Grange.
