When I've visited everyone has been extremely helpful and polite. My sister has shown remarkable improvement.

Ty Porth care home provided our 93-year-old mother with a genuinely caring and supportive environment. Despite covid restrictions, (in operation for almost all the time she resided at the home) the staff worked tirelessly to ensure patient safety at the same time as facilitating weekly family visits. Of particular note was the utmost care and dignity she was offered in her final hours, for which we shall remain eternally grateful.

The staff at this nursing home are so pleasant and caring, from the telephonist and receptionist to the carers. It is a pleasure to visit my friend. They make the experience of having the covid test very easy and safe. My visits in the summer were well organised in the garden in a gazebo and it's now good to be indoors. I haven't experienced the activities, food or value for money.

Ty Porth has been proactive when responding to the concerns that I shared with them and acted immediately in resolving the matters of concern. My mum appears to be well cared for and is complimentary of the people who look after her.

The home is well presented, and the staff are very caring and professional.

Care of my wife, support and staff are all excellent.

Since I have not been able to do up-close visits with my father, he has had all the care and attention essential for his needs. Given throughout the care home, especially during covid. The ratings reflect my opinion during this time.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We saw that my brother was well looked after, he was always happy and contented. If asked we would recommend Ty Porth as a safe and happy place for a relative with good activities and a pleasant atmosphere.

Mum is always happy when I see her and is well cared for. Mum likes the staff and speaks highly of them. All visits are managed well and all staff are friendly and caring. As a family, we are happy with the choice we made when Mum required a change in her lifestyle.

Ty Porth Care Home have done marvellous things for Mum. After years of not wanting to even get out of bed, she actually seems to be enjoying life again.

Very pleased with Ty Porth. The staff are always available to discuss my mother, her needs are being met really well. The indoor visits are really nice and so are the garden visits. I feel happy because my mother is safe and really well looked after. Video chats can be it or miss but that depends on how my mother is at the time, but they are really valuable moments because I can see my mother, who I really miss.

My mother celebrated her 90th birthday in February 2021. The staff kindly arranged a special birthday for her, with cake, banners and they even did her hair, so she felt even more special than she already does at the wonderful home. Furthermore, they walked into her room with a cake, singing "happy birthday", filmed it, and sent it to me and other members of my family. They also arranged a special video call for myself and my niece, so we could speak with my mother and wish her a happy birthday. My mother has been at Ty Porth for over 4-years, and the level of care she has received in that time has been nothing short of exemplary.

Overall, happy with my mother-in-law's care, but concerned about the times she has fallen and sometimes it's because other residents have pushed her.

My mother has been a resident at Ty Porth since January 2020 - very impressed with excellent care, both before and during the pandemic. Would recommend it to anyone (and already have). Best care/nursing home around.

I have found Ty Porth to be a very friendly, homely place for my brother to stay at this time in his life, which is so sad. But I cannot fault any of the staff and the welcoming he and our family have had over this terrible time. Wonderful. Thank you all.

Always had a very pleasant experience here as the staff are very professional and always ready to help and answer any concerns.

Haven't seen her room or other areas of the care home but the places we have seen are very pleasant.

I will be forever grateful for the care provided to my late mother, who has been a resident for just short of six years. The nurses and care staff are excellent and I trusted them with Mam's care; especially difficult during covid. The recent management score is satisfactory, previous would have been excellent. Reception staff are excellent along with the domestic staff.
