My aunt has received extremely good care over the last five months. She has put on weight, looks very well turned out and has had her hair and nails cut. The staff are friendly and respectful of her wishes. She seems cheerful when we visit. I feel that she is in the right place.

My mother has seemed to be very happy in her surroundings. She has a smile and banter in her own way with the staff. Nothing is too much trouble if I ask questions etc. I'm kept informed if there is any reason to check with a doctor. I'm kept up to date with any protocols in the running of the care home.

Very friendly, caring staff. Always helpful to my telephone queries, My father gets on well will the carers and is exceptionally pally. My parents are happy with the food quality and their rooms. The carers are trying their best to help my parents settle in, my father has adapted well, unfortunately, it's taking longer for my mother as she suffers from dementia,

She arrived in Cwrt-Clwydi-Gwyn in August 2020 after living independently. We managed to get a place with this care home during Covid. Although have not been able to see her room or community rooms/dining rooms, she is very complimentary of all the services. I was concerned about moving her as she has dementia, but the staff and all support carers have been wonderful with her. She consistently tells us that food is tasty, and nothing is too much trouble. Very pleased with everything.

We are very pleased with the level of care that my father-in-law is receiving. The care workers are so thoughtful and have been doing a fantastic job of keeping them entertained at a very frightening time. We were concerned that after going into lockdown dad would be confused as he has dementia. But he has been quite happy and although he gets confused he seems to be in good spirits. The staff are all very thoughtful and nothing is too much bother for any of them.

My husband entered the home in January this year after being ill over December and Christmas. Unfortunately, I couldn't care for him at home due to him having fits and ending up on the floor and I could not lift him up. We were lucky that Cwrt-Clwydi-Gwyn Care Home were able to admit him straight away. The manager and staff are excellent. They have made him very comfortable and they have gone out of their way to ensure that his needs are catered for, also nothing is too much trouble.

Staff and management are friendly. They have had a staff shortage - carers and cleaners - but have now taken on a couple of new staff. My Mum likes it here and gets on well with everyone. The manager is always available to talk about anything. They have a nice entertainments lady and also get singers in on birthdays etc. The food is good and they always have a choice. The staff are friendly too.

It's always a difficult time when loved ones need residential care and takes significant adjustment. During this trying and difficult time for our loved one, the care and support of all the staff was excellent. They showed nothing but kindness and understanding during this settling in period.

The majority of staff are helpful and caring. I feel there is no one to one conversation between staff and residents. This may be down to a shortage of staff. Residents need more stimulation. Staff are not always up to speed with changes in care plans or recent events. Compared to other care homes, I would not change Cwrt-Clwydi-Gwyn Care Home for my mother but there could be some improvements made. There should be staff in the lounge at all times.

It is an absolute delight to me to see my auntie so content and well looked after and catered for. It is a pleasure to visit also because the staff are so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble which transfers to my aunties happiness and for her daughter and me to see. I visit 3-4 times a week and find it a very nice atmosphere. Many thanks to you all

We chose this home due to past experiences with another member of the family being a resident. We find the home exceptional and the quality above reproach, also the staff are very committed to their work. All staff have treated my mother-in-law with respect and dignity, whilst also supporting the family through sometimes hard and difficult times. The impressive way the staff conduct themselves is a credit to themselves and the company.

My Mother-in-law has recently passed away and we feel this is an appropriate time to thank the manager and all the wonderful staff for their kindness, warmth and dedication to mam. She was always treated with the utmost respect and abundance of patience in her latter years.

The point we would like to highlight is that not only was mam cared for, we were also supported through her final years. We always felt welcome and any issues arising about her care were dealt with efficiency and respect.

Cwrt-Clwydi-Gwyn is a home from home even to the point where our little Grandson was welcomed with open arms at all times. If a child is happy there, what does that say for the environment in which the residents live?

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

My mother recently fell at the care home, she was cared for with great efficiency and loving care.

After a 9.5 hour visit to the hospital, she was welcomed back to the home with genuine care and warmth. She was settled in and given a warm meal within minutes of arrival.

The staff that day were outstanding in their loving care.

Having said that, the care is outstanding at other times as well.
